高千穂神社まで徒歩5分、高千穂峡行きのシャトルバスのバス停「神殿」はホテルの門のすぐ前、という、超便利な立地です。
夜神楽に行く時は、座布団を借りれます。
スタンダードのお部屋のお風呂は洗い場もあり、
広いのですが、手おけを借りれますので、その方が洗いやすいと思います。

We arrived early at around noon. While waiting for check in at 3:00pm, we can park our car at the hotel and we had lunch at a very good soba restaurant nearby as recommended by the staff. Love it👍

Cleanliness suffered because there was a sewage stench in the room. After the hotel rectification, there was still a faint smell. It became not noticeable after we switched off the bathroom ventilation. The hotel did call post rectification to check on the condition, hence I gave it a 5 for service.

The worst hotel of my stay in Kyushu, but yet the most expensive. I paid more than €370 for a suite but the bathroom smelled like sewer. when I reported it they just offered me another smaller room and no other compensation despite my requests. I asked for a commercial gesture but there was nothing to be done. The only good thing is that the hotel is nice looking but that's no use if the experience is bad. The next morning they gave us 2 pens and a picture as compensation. I really thought they were making fun of us. I feel frustrated. I will never repeat this experience and I do not recommend...
