Indeed super fantastic experience. I typically do not write reviews but this hotel definitely worths a review to demonstrate what first-class service they are offering.
Fantastic location -- 3min walk to the train station. When checking in, there was a very lovely small gift, and my ID card was very well taken with even a protection shield. The staff there guided me all the way to my room, and regularly checked whether everything is okay.

Excellent location, just few minutes walk from Taiyuan Railway Station, many bus stops and taxis right in front of the hotel. Staff are attentive.

I stayed at this hotel for one night with another friend. Immediately when we checked in the service was very nice! We speak mostly English and they went out of their way to help translate and bring us to our room. The room, however, did not feel the cleanest. There were some stains on the rug and chair, the bathroom smelled slightly like eggs, and the hotel door needed to be slammed shut. I would recommend this place for people who are budgeting, want to stay close to a train station, and are not staying for too long!

I have been to Taiyuan many times, and this is my first time staying at Huayuan Hotel. I feel very good. The room bedding is clean and tidy. The service staff is warm and thoughtful. The front desk waiter personally escorted us to the floor room. He also gave us gifts and millet porridge. The hotel is located near Taiyuan Railway Station. There is a subway station downstairs, which is very convenient for travel. Parking is free.
