The hotel is conveniently located near the West Gate of Pingyao Ancient City. The owner provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Taiyuannan Railway Station, just let them know your arrival or departure time in advance. Shuanglin Temple is about 20 minutes away by car; you can easily book a DiDi to get there.
The service level was good; staff and owner were always ready to assist when needed. However, the mattress was very thin. I had booked a queen-size bed, and there were two quilt covers provided. I ended up using one as an extra layer for added comfort. Unfortunately, the toilet was not properly cleaned and appeared to have not been washed after the previous guest.

The hotel is very close to Taiyuan South Station, and it only takes 20 minutes to walk there. The service is also very good, and the hygiene is excellent. It is very clean. I will stay here whenever I come to Taiyuan.
