The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Kaihuasi metro station, there are restaurants, cafes, convenient stores around the hotel, it is 5 minutes walk from the happening area with restaurants and shops. Initially i was assigned a room on 3rd floor with centralized air conditioning which resulted in my room being filled with heavy cigarette smoke. When i feedback to the staff at the check in counter, i was re-assigned a room on ground floor with individual air conditioning, this works fine for me. The corridor was still filled with cigarette smoke when i exit my room though. The hotel staff are helpful, guiding me to use the bus app and gave me a tube of hand lotion when one of them saw my hand with frostbite. I have always had good experience with home inn hotels, the facilities are good and staff are helpful.

The hotel is located in the center of the food street and has convenient transportation. However, the room is too small and there is no place to put luggage. We can only put it in the aisle. . . And the various facilities are average: the bathroom faucet is very difficult to turn, the sink is small and easy to splash water, all are disposable paper cups, and there are no tea bags. . . The quality of toiletries is also poor, the breakfast is mediocre, and the noodles need to be cooked by yourself. . . . . . Home Inn Gulou is the wisest choice for this trip to Taiyuan. The beautiful and handsome guys at the front desk were very enthusiastic and took the initiative to tell me about the delicious food nearby. 這個評論我必須寫，住的我特別來氣，好評全是刷的，首先酒店房間特別小，浴室間連1平米都沒有，洗澡轉身都麻煩，那個門口人都給側着進去，原本定的3天，入住核驗後把剩餘的兩天立馬退了，想着就和一下就得了，第二天趕緊換酒店，最來氣的來了，這個酒店沒有熱水！！晚上和早上都是温水，問前台就是讓放水，説什麼有時候放20分鐘才有，如果説一家酒店連24小時熱水都提供不了就不要再開了，這不是純坑人嗎，第二天趕緊找新的酒店洗澡了。晚上空調開起來和拖拉機一樣巨吵，大家都不要來這破酒店，純純影響旅遊心情！
