Good location within shopping pedestrian street. Noise from outside busy street can be heard inside room but bearable. Free coffee and drink at the lobby by tapping your room card. Breakfast selection is fine.

The hotel location is within walking distance of the Bell Tower food street and so convenient for us. However the car drop-off point is not nearby and those travelling with heavy luggage must be prepared to walk a distance. We could not try out the breakfast as we had to check out early to go to the airport as our schedule flight was cancelled.

Good location within walking distance hunting for food or tourist attractions like Bell or Drum towers. The hotel location is good but the room we stayed is a bit older wooden furniture type, slightly outdated. Room air-conditioning didn't work well, so it was kind of stuffy. Buffet breakfast, unfortunately not many choices to pick and it is the standard usual Chinese breakfast.... One thing that stood out for us was the front office receptionists. Friendly, thoughtful and very helpful. Thumbs up for the girls.

Spacious, but shabby room in the top location. Even freshened out rooms are eventually exposed to cigarette smell due to the central vent system and you can't sleep with open windows if the room is facing the main road - too noisy.

Perfect location in the middle of the night market. Very nice rooms for the price. It was clean and also had a washer in the bathroom, but I couldn't make it work.

Good location if one likes to be close to a night market. Another good point is the washing machine in the room. The WiFi in the hotel is not working well, very unstable and disappears every 10 minutes, not quite handy when one is doing some work for the next day. When asking the staff whether something can be done in order to improve the WiFi, two ladies appeared who will tell you that you are very handsome and will explain how the television can be switched on. Unfortunately this did not have an effect on the stability of the WiFi 🙃

Value for money and good location, I like the room setup with seat for relax and complimentary 3 litre of drinking water. Check in /out process is efficient. Will stay again if happen to visit Taiyuan.
