If you are traveling by car to the Yihe area of Taishan, you can choose this hotel. The lobby of the hotel feels very rich and prosperous, and the rooms are also new, clean and sanitary! The hotel is more than 10 minutes' drive from Yihe. The front desk lady was very polite and helped me upgrade the room. The hotel has a buffet, but there were too many people when I went there, and I had to wait for the food, so I didn't go there. I ate at the restaurant next door, and the taste was okay.

We, a party of 8, visited 台山, our ancestral home, over the weekend. We booked 5 rooms at 丽怡, mostly because it is new and conveniently located in the town center. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Hotel staff were courteous. Rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. I would have given a higher rating if not for the following reasons: 1) We weren't able to get a non-smoking room per our preference. The hotel only has one floor dedicated as non-smoking. The hotel did some odor removal treatment and opened the windows before we checked in but I would still prefer to stay in a non-smoking room. 2) There is a low humming noise throughout the night till around 5:30 am. Not enough to wake you if you are tired and sound asleep but it will be difficult to sleep again once you woke up during the night. All 5 rooms can hear the humming noise. Don't know if it is because there is a steel fabrication shop next to the hotel or due to hotel's own aircon compressor.
