Best Hotels near Zhinan Temple Back Hill Trail, Taipei

I stayed here for 10 days due to quarantine law in Taiwan. The only negative thing I could find was the old carpet, everything else was great in my opinion and experience. The front desk and meal preparation service were excellent. They were very polite and provided everything I asked for. The room I stayed in was about 390 square feet and very spacious. The view was very good, you can see the mountains, rivers, highways when you open the window. The windows can be opened enough to keep me safe. Three meals a day were prepared very well. Near the end of the stay, I changed from a mixed diet to a vegetarian diet. They provided 48 bottles of water; each bottle was 16 oz. The hot water was very hot. The air conditioning worked well. The light in the room was good. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. If I have the opportunity, I will choose to stay here again.

2017 Dec 17-19. The family with the extended family had our quick getaway to Taipei. The trip consists mostly of zoo visit and tours. We had a glorious time, so we never managed to experience the hotel facilities too much. The proximity of the place to the tourist areas and price were consideration for the booking.

We had a comfortable 5 days stay at Taipei Fullerton hotel. Housekeeping did a marvelous job to keep our room clean & tidy. Location was just 1 min to Da’an LRT station. There are many eating eateries within 1 radius from the hotel. The hotel also provides drinks & snacks at the lobby which appeal to many guests.

I was on an 18hr layover & it was a great stay. My airport pickup was on time & they didn't mind that my flight was late. The car had wifi & it was a smooth journey. Check in was simple and the receptionist spoke English. I had a few questions that were all answered sufficiently. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was next to the 101 building which was a nice view. There was also a shopping mall less than a 10 minute wall away. I would definitely stay again.

We've traveled worldwide, and The Koos Hotel is the worst and dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. If you are considering staying at this place, book another place now. My family had a big family reunion in Taiwan. Due to the hotel's convenient location, which is within walking distance from my relative's house, we booked several rooms to accommodate our big family. The night front staff was rude from the minute we walked into the hotel. He has no basic manner (ie. hello, thank you, or smile). I feel sorry for this miserable man. The day shift front desk staff was better but could have been better too. The hotel is very old and needs a lot of work/TLC. You can smell it as soon as you walk into the room. The carpet and bathroom were old and dirty. One of our rooms even had a moldy closet. The shower was not draining and flooded when we took a shower. The AC is bearly working to stay cold. Not to mention, we saw cockroaches in the room. The list goes on and on. The only clean thing was the bed sheet and bathroom towels. We arrived very early at 1 am, plus many of us just got off the plane after 15 hours of international flight. We don't have enough energy to find another hotel at that time. Besides, we have already paid for the rooms. What annoyed me the most was when the manager promised us a bigger room (we even double-confirmed before arrival); by the time we check-in, the same night shift front desk staff said the room they promised us was booked by other people already and gave us a standard room instead. No apology whatsoever. We are upset because the Koos Hotel has no simple principle and all because they want to make an extra buck. I don't want anyone to be treated this way. Cheap and high cp value! Even after staying for five consecutive days, towels were changed and bed sheets were laid out! The bathroom is clean and the water pressure is sufficient, but the sound insulation is a little lacking! But it does not affect the overall evaluation

The environment on the first floor is comfortable and spacious. The room is not too big and the space is a bit tight. The door lock is not sensor-operated, but uses a key, a bit like the ones found in old apartments. Breakfast is popular, with Chinese and Western styles. The view is that you can see the bridge There are unique transportation options and a short distance from the MRT station. The main road is right at the gate. Although there are not many cars, if there are cars, they will go very fast. Please pay attention.

Location is superb. The only issue I had was the noise since i got the window bed. I can even listen clearly to the conversation downstairs. Plus the car & motorcycle sound is very loud. Bathroom & toilet is clean. But have to wait for quite some time coz it’s shared with 2 dormitories.

Business is very good, there are customers from the United States and Japan Breakfast is simple and delicious subway entrance There are many car rental parking lots around the same station, which greatly increases the transportation convenience. Of course, it’s in Bitan Scenic Area, which is also a plus.

I had a pleasant solo stay here. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly, making for a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.
