I recently stayed at this hotel and was truly impressed by both its location and service. The hotel is conveniently situated near the MRT, with plenty of coffee shops and department stores just a short walk away. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and although the in-room amenities were somewhat limited, the front desk was more than happy to provide anything we needed upon request.
During our stay, our baby unfortunately got sick from food poisoning, which left the bed sheets and towels in a bad state. Despite it being 2 AM, the duty manager promptly knocked on our door and offered help, including checking if we needed assistance going to the hospital. I was deeply touched by their kindness and professionalism during such a stressful moment.
Thanks to the great service and ideal location, I’ll definitely be returning to stay here again in the future.

We booked three superior rooms and one of the rooms was smaller than the rest, even though we had paid the same price. The rooms were functional and clean, and housekeeping was prompt (before 10am). Breakfast selection was limited but sufficient. However, service standards should be improved - the staff were not very helpful in addressing our needs. When my family member needed a new hairdryer because the current one was not working, she had to make multiple calls as the staff was trying to get her to troubleshoot herself. When our card key couldn’t work, we had to go to the counter a few times to get the staff to assist. Despite these flaws, the location of the hotel was great though (5 mins from da’an MTR with convenience shops along the walk), so it was easy to get around as well as to get supplies.

Absolutely loved it! 10/10!!
From the hotel design and customer service to the room quality, everything was perfect!
This hotel is great for people who like to social. They regularly host events at The Social (see photos).
We booked the room with a King sized bed. The room was much more spacious than we thought. There was even a balcony! The Japanese-style bathtub was amazing too. And since the hotel just opened last year, everything is relatively new.
The little things that count:
- Over 10 sockets with built in adapter
- Room can be 99% dark
- Really comfortable slippers
- Consistent water temperature for the showers
- Strong hair dryer
- A large variety of amenities
- Well-maintained gym
While I love the mood and vibe of the room, it might not be suitable for people who need to work as the lighting might not be sufficient.
Once again, I don't guarantee that you will have the same experience but I will definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone!
Bonus: The restaurant (Texas Roadhouse) on the G/F has great service and quality food too! But since there are limited breakfast choices, I wouldn't recommend you get it every day if you're staying for long.

We've stayed at Green World ZhongXiao Hotel every time we've visited Taipei, primarily because of its prime location – just a minute's walk from the subway and surrounded by a variety of eateries, cafes, and shops. While the location has always been excellent, the service has consistently been disappointing.
However, our most recent stay in April was particularly frustrating. While the service remained subpar, the hotel took things a step further by removing all amenities. To make matters worse, they posted a misleading notice claiming that this change was part of their commitment to government initiatives for a sustainable future. While we understand the importance of sustainability, it didn’t excuse the rude and unhelpful behavior we encountered when asking for something as simple as a shower cap—especially since it was clearly stated that we could request one if needed. What was even more frustrating was that the need to bring your own amenities was never communicated to guests prior to booking nor displayed on their website. Additionally, room cleaning was not provided unless specifically requested. This sentiment was echoed by both locals and foreigners.
I believe the hotel has room for significant improvement in service standards and better communication to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.

Cleanliness, location and amenities are good, especially there are sleeping mist and three kinds of room odor for guests to use in room. If you like them, you can purchase in the reception counter. Minibar is free of charge. The presentation of morning breakfast included is great, taste is fine :) reception agents are helpful and could be better if they are more energetic and smile.

One of the best hotels in Taipei, located in Da’an - nearby to many restaurants, bars, and boutique stores (by walk). Hotel room is clean and tidy, quality toiletries and bath gel/shampoo (Acca Kappa), comfortable bed, free flow bottled water and daily replenished soda/beverages and chips. Not to mention the super friendly concierge staffs, will be back again!

The hotel is in the perfect location right outside the metro station. From the airport it’s an express MRT to Taipei station followed by the metro which is 4 stops. The hotel has all the amenities you need for a stay in Taipei. We commonly used the bus and metro which were very convenient as the stops were right outside. The hotel is in a building which has a nightclub and we were warned prior about the noise and vibrations, but we didn’t experience any of this during our stay which was fortunate! I would highly recommend this hotel to all.
Overall the stay is pleasant and safe as the police station is just beside the hotel.
The room is spacious and clean. But the breakfast provided is a little disappointing as it serves the same food every day.

MMartin Anthony MiszerakTo be fair to this hotel, the location is very good, the service at the reception is very good, and the rooms are quite nice. I was even upgraded to a small suite. Otherwise, however, the hotel does not merit 4 stars; 2,5* is the most I would give it. It is terribly aged and requires urgent renovation. Things were literally falling apart in my room. The breakfast, which was allegedly included in my booking, was a total outrage. It consisted of bread, butter, marmelade and coffee. Some other hotel guests who came down to breakfast decided clearly to go out upon seeing what the hotel was offering. Never again!

YYongyiIt is really convenient to stay in this hotel when sending my children to National Taiwan University. There is a bus stop at the MRT Gongguan station exit and next to one of the entrances of National Taiwan University. There is a rich breakfast. There is a market, night market and Jiangnan Department Store opposite. It is convenient for food, clothing, housing and transportation.
