Hotels in Songshan Airport Area, Taipei

Love the stay there! I was impressed from the decor at the lobby to the service from the front office and of course the room I was staying with beautiful sunlight got into the bathroom, I had a great stay to have a ME Day there, enjoy all in-room amenities that has to offer. However unfortunately didn’t have time to try out the breakfast buffet, definitely will give a try in my next stay! 😇

The hotel room was relatively clean and didn't have any musty smell. Housekeeping was done daily to ensure cleanliness. Breakfast was provided and they also gave coffee/tea throughout the day at the lounge. Hotel also had free self-service laundry located at B1

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The service was consistently good—there was always someone at the door to greet us each time we returned, which gave a warm, welcoming touch. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is home to two 1-star Michelin restaurants, which we only discovered on our last night—unfortunately, too late to try them. Definitely something to look forward to if we return. The property does feel a bit dated, but in a way that gives off a retro charm. The room was standard and functional, with strong water pressure in the shower (a plus). However, the pillows were quite uncomfortable, feeling flat and worn, almost like an old cotton pillow that’s been in use for a decade. One convenient feature is the money exchange service at the hotel, with fairly decent rates. Just a note: they are unable to exchange currency once you’ve checked out due to system limitations, so plan accordingly.

The room was exactly as pictured. The location is excellent, just about 30 meters from Xingtian Temple MRT Station Exit 2. Breakfast was quite nice, and the staff were also very friendly and helpful. The only minor issue was a possible drainage problem, as there was an unpleasant smell near the lobby elevators. However, the bathroom in the room itself had no odor.

In name of sustainability they no longer provide mineral bottle water. But at least provide a container or tumbler that we can use to go down to level 2 to get some water … but this sustainability drive and not providing mineral water is really pure BS. You can still provide mineral water but using glass bottles instead of plastic bottles

The hotel is just okay — nothing special. What I really appreciated was how close it is to the metro, which made getting around super convenient. However, one major downside was the lack of hot water. We had to take cold showers during the cooler months, which was really uncomfortable. That definitely took away from the overall experience.

The air conditioning was quite noisy. Even after lowering the fan speed as much as possible, it was still difficult to fall asleep. Otherwise, everything else was great; it was clean, and the lounge area on the 2nd floor was very comfortable.

The service and experience of this hotel are very good and worth recommending. The price is a bit expensive. Because of the flight, I had to check out at 3 pm. The original room price plus an additional 800 yuan was indeed a bit expensive. And toothbrushes are not provided free of charge. If you don't look at this part, the experience is actually very good.

I like the Japanese restaurant at the hotel. I booked breakfast on the second day of my stay, when the female staff insisted that the breakfast was booked on the last day, we asked her to check our booking (& check from my mobile if she likes, but she ignored our suggestion). I just hope that she could work based on facts on paper, rather than second guessing then just told the guest her own understanding- this is just a minor communication issue. Other than that, the housekeeping ladies are very nice, breakfast had good variety, room is clean.

The room was clean and neat. Furnishing were quite modern. They provide in house coin laundry amenities. Spacious bathroom with even a tub and a separate shower. Location is slightly further from the MRT Station. But there are a few bus stop nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much.
