This is a guest house or hostel, so don't expect exquisite hotel services. For a reasonable price, Room 9 was a pretty decent place to stay for a solo lady traveler. Not so fancy. However, you have the basic things you need except for toothbrush but I don't mind coz it's a personal thing that every traveler must have handy. The room has a clean comfy bed, duvet and 2 pillows, strong wifi, cable TV, and hair dryer. The bathroom is spacious and clean. There are slippers and a bathroom door rug. The location is good. There's a bus stop right in front of the exit. Taipei bus station and Taipei Main station are about 6-8 minutes on foot. There's also a 711 next to the building. The staff are there 24/7 to assist and the best part is that they can speak GOOD ENGLISH! Smooth transaction.
I just hope they add landmarks on their hotel descriptions to locate it easier, especially at night.
Overall it was a good experience staying there.

I actually make a mistake booking this hostel but I could not believe a small hostel doing quite good. Bed is clean and comfortable. Bathroom is so clean. Everything I need is in the common room. The room I got is small one but it doesn't make me feel bad about it. For this value it is more than I expected. The host are friendly and helpful. Regards Chung Lee

But there are few late night snack options nearby after 10pm

The hotel rooms are nice and the public hall is well stocked with kitchenware and cooking tools. The place is clean and close to the Beimen subway and the airport MRT. The only thing is that TV is not digital broadcast. I couldn't see the house number clearly, so I took the blue elevator inside the mall to the 9th floor. The overall feeling is good.
