Very nice service n location with dirty room 😓 The hotel room is so dark n very small can’t open windows with bad smell from the bathroom. But the service is quiet good n the staff try many way to help to clean up . The breakfast is good 👍

We arrived on a rainy night, exiting Ximen Station Exit 6 we realised the exit is smacked in the middle of a junction plus pedestrian street and did not know which direction to walk for 1 min to see the hotel. So actually the direction should be to turn right and walk along the shops facing the road and you'll see the hotel. Other than this, another peeve is that the hotel has toilet and shower cubicle doors that do not lock, and there is no place to hang clothes and towel in the shower cubicle without getting them wet. Hence you need to step out of the cubicle, and only a curtain separates the outside of the cubicle from the bed and TV area, however even with that one can see the reflection on the TV black screen when the TV is off. In addition, the mirror is quite far from the washing basin, and right next to the mirror is the electric point for the kettle, hence the placement mismatch. And although the room description indicates a window, the "window" is just a single frosted pane of glass that can't be opened and can't be seen through, and no light can shine through which doesn't help in waking up in the morning. We were also required to pay a surcharge at the hotel of 1,500 TWD per night for our child on top of what we paid through Trip.com. Overall the hotel has a modern look and feel, the location is convenient, breakfast is ok though the variety is not huge, and a male porter (did not managed to get his name) was very friendly and approachable.

Very convenient as close to西门町。 Hotel very clean and tidy except that the facilities are limited, for example, without a swimming pool. Breakfast acceptable, 性价比ok. Will consider staying next time.

Westgate hotel, is located at a prime location. Just steps away from XiMenDing Station exit 6 and with huge amount of food varieties option around make this a wonderful spot for family with elderly. Not to mention, the staff were extremely good with their services (I.e, queries addressed, rides transfer to airports, luggage on weighing scales, etc). Always serving with a smile. Totally recommending to friends and family. Cheers 😊

Everything is great except the rooms are just pretty average. Toilet and shower cubicles are small. No hook inside the cubicles for towels and robes. Buffet breakfast is underwhelming considering the price premium over other hotels in Ximending. As a saving grace, the staff are warm and friendly.

Wide spread of food for morning buffet. Room is spacious and clean. There is a washing machine/ dryer room on lower floor. However, note that there is only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer in the room. So, might need take some time to wait.

This hotel is wonderfully located in the heart of Ximengding and just next to the MRT station too, their staff is wonderful and food is great too. Only cons is there is no executive lounge and gym is just basic and very small.

All hotel staff are polite and helpful especially 1 staff - Mr Rafar. He really treat customers like his own friends and can sense that he loves his job!

The hotel staff service is superb 👌 they are very attentive. Location is also good. I keep shopping and come back to put our haul in our room. Then continue shopping 🛍️

The location of the hotel and the service level of the hotel staff were excellent. The hotel is only a few steps away from the Ximen metro train station which makes access around Taipei very convenient. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Room was good to and comfortable and clean. Breakfast was ok but it was about the same variety everyday.

Perfect location: close to Ximen subway station and the Ximending shopping district. Excellent service: front desk, cleaning, meal service were all great. Room: small but sufficient. Strong and steady hot water supply. Quiet!

The rooms are smaller than expected for the prices paid. However the location make up for it and not to mention services are excellent, the staff are friendly and professional so I will definitely come back again.
