MEANDER 1948

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Meander 1948 in Taipei! The hotel was spotlessly clean, and I really appreciated that the cleaners came by every day to tidy up the room. The bathroom was fantastic—the water pressure was incredibly strong and the water heated up almost instantly, making for a very comfortable shower experience. The staff were wonderful, so kind and helpful. They were always happy to provide instructions and answer any questions I had, which made my trip so much smoother. One of the best perks was the breakfast voucher. At 80 NTD per person per day, it was a fantastic value and could be used at a variety of restaurants with flexible hours. I have to give a special recommendation: try the 'Da Dao Cheng Braised Pork Rice' for a delicious lunch and 'Twin Coffee' for a great breakfast. The location is also perfect. It's incredibly easy to get to the hotel from Taoyuan Airport. I highly recommend Hotel Meander 1948 and can't wait to stay here again!

We lived in a triple room. The room is small but it is cozy and comfortable. The hotel is clean and well-designed. The location is very convenient. My only complaint is that the wash basin is located right in front of the innermost bed without any door, so if anyone goes to the toilet at night, turning on the light will disturb any light sleeper there, as the light will shine brightly in front of them. (Only one switch controls the light in the bathroom, toilet and those above the wash basin.) I suggest some additional dim lights can be installed in the toilet which can be switched on independently from those above the wash basin. Alternatively, coverings like curtains can be installed so that the light can be blocked from shining on the innermost bed. (Note: Different rooms might have different layout.)

Good choice for solo travelers I would love to stay again for sure

It was nice stay for my summer holidays trip to Taipei.

It’s about 200m from exit Y13, it’s not difficult to fond this hostel. For 8 person room, the space is quite small, but luckily all of us didn’t have too large luggage. Otherwise it’s really a comfortable stay, cute n cosy common space and free flow of tea i love it

Women's dorm and bathrooms were clean,vthe dorm was really quiet except for people packing/unpacking Location is good, within walking distance from Taipei station. Common area was comfy. Reception area is too small especially when there are guests checking in & out at the same time. All staff were helpful and friendly except Kelly (Reception) who was blunt and rude
