The appearance of the hotel looks old but the room is alright. Got ants on the desk. The toilet had flushing problem. Asked the receptionist about the location of the laundry and she couldn't make the recommendation. But she provided bottles of water to us. I requested for check in earlier as our flight arrived at 5.30am and 11.30am. They didn't reply at all. No luggage storage and it was seriously inconvenient. Check-in through the machine and only able to check in after 3.01pm. This location is not really convenience for us so won't be go back again.

Not bad. Nice hotel, small but ok. There are a lot of food nearby, and it is also very close to Dadaocheng River Embankment.

We arrived around 1pm but could not check in to our room until 3pm. Unfortunately the hotel doesn't have any space to store your luggage before or after check in. The room was as described, with a decent sized room and bathroom. Cleanliness could be improved, specifically the air conditioning unit as it appeared mouldy inside. The carpets and walls could also be doing with a refresh. Good location close to popular areas nearby, including the Dadaocheng night market. The rooms are possibly slightly over priced in my opinion, for the standard.

Great choice for a minimalist but comfortable stay.

The room was very small, there was very little space for two people. During the 3 nights of our stay, the room was never cleaned or water or hygiene supplies were brought. The windows faced the street where there was constant noise from cars, but I was wearing earplugs and it didn’t bother me. The bathroom was constantly damp. But the location is very good and it looks like you won't find anything else in Taipei for this price. But if you are traveling together, it is better to look for a larger room. If you're looking for a no-frills room to just spend the night, this hotel will do the trick. Price = quality

The person at the front desk was very kind. There were some people who could speak Japanese, and they readily agreed to our requests, which was helpful. It's not far from Taipei Main Station and you can walk to the night market!

I originally booked a youth hostel in Taipei Station, but due to geographical issues and public health issues, I booked an additional hotel. I chose this hotel because I was only in Taipei for half a day, and it was close to Dadaocheng and Ningxia Night Market. The place where I buy souvenirs is nearby. When I was asked to upgrade to a room, I took it lightly because I didn't need a bathtub, but I didn't expect that this hotel has no air conditioning. The room looked like it had air conditioning on the surface, but there was no wind coming out. At 2 o'clock in the morning, the room showed 24 degrees. But very cramped. The hotel does not provide fans. The staff pressed a few buttons that I knew how to press, but they seemed to be helpful but had no effect. The room was so hot that I couldn't sleep at all. I took off all my clothes and didn't cover myself with the quilt. By 5 o'clock, I was so sleepy that I turned on the small fan I brought and went to sleep. It was now 8 o'clock, and I woke up from the heat again. The room display dropped by one degree, and it was now 32 degrees outside. My whole body was not dry and the oil on my face was showing out. I need to take one more shower later before I can check out. It seems that I came to Taipei just to take a shower. The staff were polite but of no use and the room was terrible. People who are afraid of heat should definitely not stay here in summer. Let’s try again next winter

The hygiene is average, the room is very small, and the staff service is okay. To order takeout, you have to go downstairs to pick it up yourself. There is an elevator, which is small. For the price, it's acceptable.

It's close to Dihua Street and is a recommended location for exploring the area, but it's about a 10-minute walk from Beimen Station, so be careful if you have a large suitcase. The room and bed were spacious and had all the amenities (shampoo and body soap only, no conditioner), but the ammonia smell in the toilet was very strong. As mentioned in other reviews, they do not store your luggage. The reason seems to be that it would block the emergency exit, but it looked like there was room for several of them.

Check in at 10pm, call first to talk about it Although check-in is self-service, there are people at the counter to assist you, which is great There is also a bathtub which is a plus But the bed is a bit close~~ Check out at 11 o'clock. An extra hour will cost 400 more. It's convenient to walk to Dihua Street nearby.
