3-Star Hotels in Tainan

Hotel is old. Can be seen through the renovations and wall. The room is spacious and clean. Toilet ceiling is a bit too low though not sure why. Very quiet hotel so it gets a bit spooky at night. Location is surrounded around a few ******s. For it's price I can't ask for more, but I don't think I want to stay here again.

Location was inconvenient especially if you do not drive. The public transport is a bit far from the hotel. Taxi service not available for short distance. We took the taxi from the hotel to Chiayi HSR which cost NT1,200. Guests stayed at the hotel only allowed one visit per stay per person. To fully enjoy all the facilities for both floors, it will take at least 3 hours. The swimming pool was closed for renovation. Breakfast selection was rather disappointing.

This is my second time staying at National Cheng Kung University. The location is great, within walking distance to the National Cheng Kung University campus and Tainan Train Station. Guests can enjoy free parking and unlimited entry and exit through license plate recognition, which is very convenient! If you are shopping and dining near the club, you can enjoy a variety of discounts with your room card, which I think is a very considerate service. The room environment is clean and good, and the interior space is large. You can run and jump without any problem. The bed is moderately soft and hard. The sound insulation effect is good and you will not be disturbed when you check in. The complimentary breakfast includes porridge and side dishes, Western-style toast bread, drinks including coffee machine milk, etc. , not high-end but the buffet style meals are not bad. Overall, although it is not a new hotel and has not been renovated, the accommodation quality and experience are great! The only thing that can be improved is that the air conditioning in the room is still a bit too cold even after the temperature is adjusted. It would be better if there is a heating function when going in winter.

The hotel has an excellent location, next to Guohua Street and Haian Road, which is very convenient. The special parking lot is on Haian Road, which is only a 3-minute walk away. Although the facilities in the hotel are slightly old, the CP value is very high.

I was refraining from traveling abroad due to the corona disaster, and it was my first overseas trip in 3 years. This is the second time I have been indebted to you and this time I stayed for 3 nights. I also went to Kaohsiung based in Tainan. The rooms are clean and spacious. Amenities include dryers, shampoo, body soap, towels, toothbrushes and refrigerators. You can stay cheaply and there is a convenience store nearby, which is very satisfying. The bus stop is also right in front of you. If the transfer from Taipei to Tainan is the Shinkansen, you need to move to Tainan Station on the conventional line, but it took about 30 minutes on the conventional line. I would like to take care of you again when I go to Tainan.

Excellent hotel, clean, location is good...near to Tainan Railway station and amenities. The breakfast served is great. The breakfast menu is never the same. The attitude and service rendered by the staffs were very positive, good and friendly.

Accommodation days: Saturday to Monday morning 🏨Room: For access control, you can use Cloud Check in to get the password. The size and lighting are also very good, with dry and wet separation, and there is hair oil in the room. 🙎Service: The attitude of the staff is great. Basically, the service staff will try their best to satisfy any requests that are not too strange. Moreover, when booking a room, you can tell us that you need to borrow a bottle sterilizer, a baby bathtub, and a crib, which saves space for parents with young children to carry extra luggage. 🏷️Location: There is no major road near the hotel. In addition, we arrived at almost 7pm on the first day and did not return to the hotel until 11pm on the second day. Basically, the quietness is acceptable. We chose a room on the sixth floor. There were some noises at night except someone pulling a chair or something, but they were not continuous, so it was acceptable. The hotel has its own parking lot. If it is full, there is a public parking lot next to it (the hotel will handle the parking fees). Basically, you will not be unable to find a parking space. 🥪Meals: For breakfast, there were three of us (my wife and I + a 2-year-old child), and the service staff allowed us to order three breakfasts. Just enough to satisfy those who want to try different meals. If you are not full, there is also rice as an option. There is music playing on Sunday morning, so you can relax and have breakfast.

we stayed Nov 15-17/22. the male staff [forgot his name] was very professional, helpful, kind, efficient, pleasant, patience, provided lots of info & tips. hotel very secure which required room key to get in & out of elevator, door to your apt floor & your room. we had a clean, stylish and very spacious room but lack of luggage holder. He brought us a long storage cupboard. had to cover the shower drains after shower to prevent insects getting in & sewage smell. we still smelled scant of sewage even drains were covered. convenient to railway station, eateries and especially close by market very busy on weekend with lots of foods etc etc.

The steam equipment in the room is faulty, the light switch has a poor contact, and the air-conditioning air volume cannot be adjusted. Overall, the CP value is high. After all, with such a large space, we can’t be too picky. However, you need to consider the check-in time when checking in, which is different from ordinary hotels.

I booked a double room and upgraded it to triple room 908. The room has a historical feel but the space is comfortable. The bedding is rough and the pillows are too hard. The double bed is directly facing the air-conditioning vent and is not comfortable, and the single bed is a bit shaky. I heard that the poor sound insulation really affected my sleep in the middle of the night. I kept hearing the low hum of machines and the nearby temple started playing music at seven in the morning, so I couldn't have a good rest. In addition, there are enough sockets in the room which are commendable! The resting space for afternoon tea provided by the hotel is very good. It's a pity that I didn't come back in time to experience late night snacks after dining out. However, the breakfast was quite delicious and had a variety of choices. The freshly made omelettes and carrot cakes were very special.
