The location is great. However, the facility is definitely rundown and need a big time facelift which include rooms and dinning area. The room has bad odor, smoke smell. The TV wasnt working. We asked the staff and they tried different TVs but still didnt work until they changed our room. Breakfast is ok. The pricing is reasonable but certainly not the overall facilities.

Not recommended, because the soundproofing is extremely poor, the tenants are extremely bad and noisy. It was already 12 o'clock in the evening, and they kept tidying up things, banging and talking loudly. It was very, very noisy. Nearly half of the tenants were making noises. It was impossible to rest well. They had no respect, courtesy or public morality. I had told them to be quiet many times, but they still kept making noises. Of course, it's not the store's fault, but... the warnings could be more mandatory.

Room was clean and spacious, there was even a bathtub in it. The children enjoyed it very much. There was a small play area with a swing so the kids could slide down into a ball park.
I was 15 minutes late checking out so there was a small charge. So please make sure you check out by noon.

So clean, Very Very Non smoking room. What i loved in my stay is that i dont smell tracw of smoke. But no slippers, The aircon is function well. Our stay is peaceful and quiet. 7/11,bus and train station is nearby. We will come back here!

Palmer hotel's location is very central, near taroko mall, Taichung park, Taichung train station and miyahahara ice cream shop. Palmer hotel offers buffet breakfast and also has a self laundry - coin operated same floor with the buffet. Room is big, 2 elevators working and quick checkin and check-out process. The first time I booked a hotel in Taichung City, the reason for choosing was larger than other hotels at the same price, the room was really big and comfortable, but the bathroom washbasin with hair tissue crumbs was unhygienic.
There is a station in front of the hotel to other attractions, conveniently located within walking distance of Taichung Station and Miyahara Ophthalmology location. 👍
The hotel restaurant is small and comfortable, the breakfast variety is good, the restaurant waiters politely entertained. 👍
If you arrive at the hotel early and fail to register early, you can deposit your luggage free of charge, but the luggage storage is unregulated in public places. There is no number plate for guests to identify. I hope the hotel can pay attention to improvements.

KKuen HawThe hotel is near fengjia night market. All toiletries are provided in the hotel room. There is a lounge with complimentary snacks and hot beverages. There is also a laundry area for you to wash your clothes.

PPgzdHotel is located at a great location, nice facilities and good cleanliness in my room. My only feedback is that for people who drive, please be aware. The carpark entrance is at the back entrance of the hotel where the convenience stall is located. This hotel uses an Over Car Bonnet Storage system. We were greeted unpleasantly by the carpark assistant (an old man), not only were we not allowed to unload our luggage before parking, he didn't even bother assisting us with our carriage. To make matters worst, we saw him help another guest on arrival that was behind us at that time, to unload their luggage and give them guidance in parking. On my last day, i was awoken by the hotel staff through the hotel phone. They told me that my car was not parked properly and they could not activate the lever system for the carpark. Yes i would apologize if i have parked off by 2cm outwards, but I was woken up rudely in the morning after a long tiring night before with no apologies whatsoever. A note to future hotel guest, if you intend to have your car parked in the hotel, please be mindful the space is not very SUV friendly.

AAnonymous UserLocation - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha).
So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market.
It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it.
Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it.
I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient.
The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad.
I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby.
I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again.
(Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card)

However it was worth it as it was a beautiful little space. Room was a little space but it was sufficient and cosy. Netflix was available. Bathroom was clean and big.
There was free flow wine for certain hours during one of the days. That was a plus.

GGuest UserIf check-in process becomes fully automated, the personal touch for service will deem to be as cold as a robot, and may spoilt the mood for traveller whenever we wish to ask questions about travel activities.
Next, after office hours, the shutter roller of the front counter is closed, hence there will be no access to water dispenser. Maybe hotel should consider to install a water dispenser for stayers to refill water, etc

莎莎哈拉The service at Shuiyunduan is as excellent as ever. I stayed there in 2017 and visited again in 2024. The difference is that I brought three more children with me. Thank you to the guy at the counter for his thoughtfulness and making our stay very enjoyable.
The children like late night snacks and breakfast. The large spa bath in the room made us relax both physically and mentally. The parent-child game room also provides a place for lively children to meet new friends and play games together.
Great accommodation, recommended for families with children.

RRayレイnot bad, a 7/11 and a grocery store right across the road, 5 mins walk from here to the Suncake museum and multi events held nearby. Altogether extrodinary is the cleanliness and they also provide earplugs to prevent from snores from other roommates.
