2-Star Hotels in Taichung

This is the place where I stayed for a day before leaving the country. It is a 15-minute walk from Taichung Train Station, close to the Hongruijian main branch, and there are many Starbucks and delicious restaurants nearby. I was a little worried because I was told to contact them by phone or Line for self-check-in, but I sent a message via Google Mail and they responded right away, which was nice, and when I actually arrived at the hotel, there was a staff member there so I was able to check in easily. The mixed 10-person dormitory was right next to the reception, so it was a bit cramped, but there was a common space on the rooftop so I was able to use it comfortably. It was nice to have milk tea, coffee, tea, etc. and eat the bread I bought from Hongruijian on the rooftop on the 5th floor. Carbonated drinks are provided for free in the refrigerator, and I think it is a good value for money accommodation. I would stay here next time I visit Taichung alone.

The room is simple and clean, the bed is very comfortable to sleep in, there is a convenience store diagonally opposite, it is very convenient to buy things, but the navigation location is a bit off and a bit hard to find, overall it is very good, I will come back

BEST HOSTEL EVER 🤩 Wide range of free amenities and breakfast! It's also right next to Taichung Railway Station! Amenities: 3-pin socket by the bed side, bed side table, 2 hangers, washing machine, dryer, luggage storage area, dining table, pantry, lounge, foosball, mini grocery store microwave, fridge, toaster, oats, cornflakes, cocoa powder, coffee powder, water dispenser, utensils, crockery, sofa, FREE earplugs, slippers, WOMEN TOILETRIES. Made it in time for breakfast buffet in May 😆 Soundproof walls and adjustable aircon, overall a very pleasant experience, highly recommend for solo/female/frugal travellers!

The location is also close to the train station. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the train station by ubike. There is a ubike station nearby which is very convenient. Downstairs of the hotel is the China Night Market, which is very convenient for dining with many vendors along the entire road. The disadvantage is that there are no disposable supplies provided, not even slippers and towels. The quilt was made of feathers and was quite thick. This time I encountered a cold air mass and it was not cold at all. It was even so hot that I woke up in the middle of the night and lost my hair and warmed up my clothes. If you need a razor, you can buy one at the counter for 10 yuan. The counter staff has a good attitude and will not be impatient. It is still my first choice for accommodation next time I come to Taichung.

Near the MRT station, travel is very convenient! Because it is a renovation, the whole is brand new and clean. The fly in the ointment is that the door lock is a combination of the key and the card. It is not completely upgraded to the room card. It is a bit troublesome to open the door. There are occasional insects infested!

This is such a great place!!! So cute!!! 😄 The entire places are well equipped with what you need, the price is wonderful, nothing you can complain about 😍 And they have women only(room &, share bathrooms), walking distance to night bazaar 😙 Highly recommended for your trip. Thank you so much for the experience, if we happen to visit this coutry again, we will definitely be back here !!

The location of the hotel was excellent. Although it is a basic hotel we slept well and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel also makes effort to reduce wastage by limiting the amount of hotel room amenities. I just hope that the hotel could have put a sofa or a small dining tables and some chairs at the void corner. Overall, we are satisfied with the hotel.

Booked a deluxe room with bath tub on 3Apr23. Absolutely satisfied with their customer service, no idea why the star rating is only 3.5. I was kinda skeptical at first, to my surprised the room was spacious and clean, staff even went the extra mile to help a clueless tourist like me. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back.
