Taichung Xinshe District Hotels

The environment of the homestay is clean, the public areas are also very clean, the view on the top floor is beautiful, you can overlook the mountains of the new club and the east. The boss also provides free coffee and specialties (good oranges are very sweet!!) Breakfast in the open-air coffee shop on the top floor is really a wonderful enjoyment. In addition, the owner of the hotel also introduced the local delicious organic grapes, mushrooms and tomatoes, and the special locations of the new club. This time I wanted to go to Dongshi Forest Farm to enjoy the fireflies, but the surrounding accommodation was fully booked. I went to the new society to find it, and accidentally found the flower field homestay. Simple and clean, book soon after reference reviews. Parking is convenient, the owner kindly explained the facilities, breakfast, public space... etc. of the homestay. Also very enthusiastic about introducing recommended restaurants nearby. The next day, breakfast was prepared very carefully, and the grass in the courtyard was also very beautiful. The price is also very fair; just because the neighbors fall asleep early, it is not appropriate to make noise after 10 pm.

The overall location is relatively remote. If you want to check in, remember to eat or buy a good meal before going in. Because there are 3 people in the whole manor, there is no way to be too instant on the service. There is no option for breakfast. The waiting time is too long. It is easy to affect the follow-up itinerary time. Simply put, it is really a holiday to go there. It is best not to have too many reservations to run, otherwise it should be very hard.

Very near to Taichung station, my room view is Taichung Station. Convenient location. Next to Taroko Mall. But the building is an old building, smelt old furnitures, booked for a double room but get a twin bed room instead even tho im solo traveler. If needed iron to iron clothes , need to pay deposit 200 twd

I was allocated upper bunk beside Aircon. The air ventilation in the bunk is poor. It is stuffy and hot because accommodate many people inside the dorm. It was difficult to climb to upper bunk. There was smell inside toilet. One of the hair blower is not working.

It is a good hotel with good service. Walking distance to yi zhong street but it is a 15 mins walk. Near to train and bus station but the hotel is not in the central area of taichung. Across the hotel is Taichung Park. Room wise is good enough with basic items. Additional item can be collected from the reception at level 1

Would like to highlight an issue we encountered with regards to our deposit and certain charges that were made to us but which we had not incurred. When we were checking out, we asked to have a look at our statement of charges as we understood that any additional charges would be offset by the deposit placed with the hotel. We had dinner at ”The Prime -Grill and Lounge” on one of the nights and just wanted to check if the charges were right. The statement showed 3 separate bills that were not incurred by us and were all purchases of alcohol, which we found strange. When we brought this up with the front desk, the staff did not seem surprised at all with the error or sought to verify the same anywhere nor were we given any apology for the mistake. It was as though she already knew that those 3 charges were unanauthorised transactions and said that the hotel would rectify the issue with the bank in respect of our deposit. The front desk was also very adamant to not let us speak to her manager about the issue. We just wanted to highlight the above because we would usually just trust the hotel to refund the right amount of deposit without checking, especially when using credit card to pay the same. But it may be worth checking when it comes to this hotel as based on the reaction which we got from the front desk, it seems that such mistakes whether intentional or not have happened before. We also hope that the hotel would do some sort of investigation into how issues like this could happen.

Will not come again. This was a horrible experience, I used to stay at this hotel many times years ago, but clearly this is not that same hotel anymore. Staff was friendly, but it was quite chaotic when we checked in, we could not find the bell boy to leave our bags. Breakfast was a joke, we sat in ridiculously low chairs for breakfast, and when I saw the manager, note, the manager not a waitress, picked up a bottle of yogurt from the floor and put back to the bowl for guest, it was quite shocking to me so I asked her why did she do that, she simply said to me ”it's not broken”. What a hotel！！

Booked through Ctrip's new user discount, the VIP king room is priced at 3061 per night on weekdays. The hotel is located on Taiwan Avenue, which is a traffic artery in Taichung City. It is very convenient. It is about 10 minutes' drive from Fengjia Tourist Night Market. The room is decorated in a classic style. The bed is moderately soft and hard, and I find it comfortable and easy to sleep in. The swimming pool saunas are open, and reservations are required before using the saunas. The breakfast menu is rich, including Taichung's special fried noodles with Dongquan chili sauce. The freshly squeezed juice is delicious. My boyfriend who lives with me also likes the breakfast dishes. Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taichung is considered a five-star hotel with a high CP value in Taiwan. Although the building and equipment have a sense of age, they feel that they have been carefully maintained. I will visit again next time I come to Taichung!

The room is nice... Has a small fridge.. the room is clean.. free mineral water, coffee and tea... Internet wifi is fast.. This hotel only has 1 iron.. and you need to put 500twd as deposit to borrow from the front desk... Eventually I have no chance,coz 1 customer has it and I am wondering why they don't know who borrows the iron if they put a deposit and they don't know the room. Close to the main station...only 300m by walk.
