The location is handy for travellers arriving train or bus. Only a short walk out fr the main Taichung station. Even with our luggage we managed to get there easily. How ever for laundry it's not so convenient as there's no separate room and we had to sit in the lounge while washing. It's a coin machine so we had to get enough coins too.
Double room Room is quite small for two and my lauggage opens into two halves so not much space on floor.
Drawback is lack of restaurants nearby to have a quick breakfast. No food vendors available only family mart
BF included in hotel booking was average. Buns soy drinks coffee porridge and noodles. .

Near miyahara and Taichung park.
Very clean but the WiFi is weak.

There is a balcony in my room making my stay a more comfortable one. The room size is a bit small but ok for 2 persons.
Breakfast is served with local dishes, bread and soy milk
The only downside is check out time is 11 am and strictly no extension. Any extension is chargeable.
Will stay again if I visit Taichung.

This hotel so valuable in my trip. Breakfast in this price so valuable in taiwan hotel and near Taichung train station. Recommend to stay here when you go to Taichung.

Travelers beware: this hotel will try their best to take advantage of you. Do not dirty the linens or cause any damage because you will be charged an arbitray incidental fee upon check out. Take a before/after picture of the room's conditions as evidence because this aging hotel has poor management and an unattentive manager. You will be charged fees and inconvenienced upon check-out. We were charged $400 NTD for two small coin sized stains on the linens. There are no disposable toiletries and the sound isolation of the rooms are poor. The 3 person room is actually two beds, a single and a full bed, so beware if you are three friends sharing two beds. Be attentive of who you interact with in this hotel as they seem to be cooperatively trying to scam you out of your hard earned money. The locale is next to the local Taichung Railway Station, so there are many migrant workers and sketchy homeless people lined up along the streets. Be mindful of your own security and take caution.
