Lane62 Hostel

As a backpacker, I was very impressed by the Lane 62 Youth Hostel in Taichung. The location here is superior, located on Section 5 of Taiwan Boulevard, with convenient transportation, a bus stop at the doorstep, banks and convenience stores nearby, and complete living facilities. The hostel is fully equipped with comfortable beds, clean bathroom facilities and a shared kitchen for self-catering. The public space is cozy and suitable for communicating and sharing travel stories with travelers from all over the world. Affordable price and high cost performance. The only downside is that it is close to Taiwan Boulevard, so there might be some traffic noise, but it didn't affect me much. Overall, Lane 62 Youth Hostel is an ideal accommodation choice for backpackers in Taichung.

If you are looking for a comfortable, clean and cost-effective place to stay in Taichung, it is highly recommended to stay at 62 lane. This is the second time I have stayed here. I feel the same as the first time. I will recommend it to everyone.

Although someone left a message saying that the mattress was good, the butt area had collapsed and it was not very comfortable to sleep on. I saw that the bed next to me had a separate tube mattress. The store may have started to replace the old memory mattress (not sure) Each bed has a backpack-sized storage compartment that can be locked with a key. The bathroom provides shampoo/shower gel/hair dryer/cotton swabs, but the amount of water is a little too small. The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Donghai Business District. It's not close, but it's not far. Overall, it’s a pretty good youth hostel and worth recommending.

The service is good, the room is spacious and the bed is quite easy to sleep on. The only drawback is that in the bathroom, the shower head is damaged and the water is sprayed everywhere, and it is easy to accumulate water.
