The entrance is rural but quite confusing, next to the village building, check-in is a bit long and the staff does not offer help to lift things. The room is quite nice but the air conditioner drips make it look good, the bathroom is clean and good. The pool is very comfortable at night, the breakfast is also delicious and complete.

I stayed here for more than a month. It's in a village, 15 minutes from Jepara City, and 20 minutes walk from a mini market, although you can buy limited provisions from nearby stalls. A waroeng mie ayam nearby can dish out a nice lunch, and the owners are friendly. It's in a teak furniture cottage industry area, and although you can hear electric hand tools in use, the sound of polishing won't disturb, just as the sounds made by farmers (to shoo birds away in paddy harvesting season) and calls to prayers, form a pleasant background. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished, and cleaned daily by a small crew. It's like a family affair. Meals - Indonesian or Western - can be ordered and eaten in the room. It takes about 30 minutes for food to arrive as it's brought from the sister hotel in town. Breakfast comes with the stay and there are a dozen choices, mostly delicious. No hesitation to recommend the place for a short or long stay.
