Kyukamura Irago

I stayed in a Japanese-Western room with a shower. It's spacious enough and the table seats 4 people and is kept clean. In addition to monthly medicinal baths, you can also enjoy carbonated spring water. You can see both the sunset and the sunrise from the rooftop terrace. On this day, the sunset was hidden by clouds and could not be seen clearly, but the sunrise looked beautiful. For dinner, in addition to sashimi and roast beef, you can also arrange your own hot pot and kamameshi. The staff was nice, but they seemed busy and it took a while to stop them to ask for more drinks. I enjoyed the breakfast with a wide variety of dishes such as hitsumabushi, tempura, and curry.

My husband and I visited at the end of June. The inside of the hotel and the rooms were thoroughly cleaned and the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were highly skilled. Also, at night, the stars shone beautifully and I enjoyed watching them for a long time on the rooftop. However, the food buffet... Although there were a lot of variety, there weren't many dishes that suited my taste, but I guess it can't be helped since the cost of staying was around 20,000 yen!

Our family's annual "New Year holidays vacation village" event took place this time, and we visited here this time. It's not far from my home (about 3 hours by car), but the biggest reason I've avoided it is that the baths aren't hot springs. However, I had almost exhausted all vacation villages within driving distance, so I decided to give it a try and made a reservation. When I arrived there, the parking lot was unusually large and it looked like a Showa-era sanatorium. The building looks old and has no special features. However, once you enter the building, it has a bright and clean atmosphere with a lot of attention to detail. The room we stayed in was a Japanese-Western room that seemed to have been recently renovated. It had two semi-double beds, about 6 tatami mats of space, and two large LCD TVs (the same ones we use at home). It was available in each space. There is one large bath for men and women. There will be a gender change the next morning. I used both, and although they were slightly different in shape, there was one medicinal indoor bath, one semi-open-air muddy bath, and one carbonated spring bathtub.The carbonated spring water was lukewarm and I was able to enjoy it for a long time. Meals are buffet style for breakfast and dinner. There were so many types of side dishes and rice that I couldn't finish them all. Especially since it's a facility by the sea, they seem to use fresh seafood, and the sushi, sashimi, and skewered shellfish were delicious. Also, curry was served both in the morning and in the evening, and my wife was happy. A familiar after-dinner event at Kyukamura is a stargazing event, which seems to be popular with children (it takes place on the large roof terrace called Manten Terrace). The facility is a single inn by the sea, but there are several convenience stores, drug stores, etc. along the road coming from Toyohashi. Also, the windows of the rooms face inland, so you cannot see the sea from your room. Thank you a lot for your hospitality.

外観が汚すぎる。 めっちゃボロボロだった。 所々の塗装の剥がれなど、 多分地震で崩れるのではないだろうか？ と思うほど。 最初見た時、え？ここに泊まるのか？ と思わず声を漏らしたほど。 今まで多くのホテルや、 旅館に泊まってきたが、 ここまで汚いのは初めてだった… そして何より、外人の女性の態度が最悪。 逆に凄すぎる。 アルバイトの奴じゃ有るまいし、 ちゃんと教育したらどうなのだろうか？ そもそも教育をしたのかすら疑問だ… その点が本当に意味不。
