Chalets-Camping Domaine des Dunes

We rented a chalet for 5 nights. The reception was perfect. Lesl chalet is very comfortable! The decor is a bit dated but everything is functional and very clean (very very very clean). Fridge, freezer, stove with oven, toaster, microwave... All crockery... Large bathroom with bathtub. Terrace and outdoor (and indoor) fireplace. Very calm. Laundry room available on site ($2.5 per cycle) And the icing on the Sunday... Dogs allowed!! We found the value for money very interesting.

Lack of cleanliness in the showers and toilets. Also lack of toilet paper. The campsites are excellent and surrounded by trees. The community room is very small and very echo.

We had reserved 2 courts, our friends could not show up if canceling being that it was impossible within 48 hours of notice, so we paid in full for the 2 courts, technically the courts belonged to us for the 2 days, but surprise they re-rented the 2nd lot, I went to the reception desk to be reimbursed but the lady refused to reimburse us, on the pretext that I did not have a unit parked on the 2nd lot ...in short, never again a non-recommendable campsite...in addition the sites were very very very very small...

The sites are so small that it is impossible to think of letting the children move. The games corner is very ordinary and there is no corner to simply play Frisbee without risking hitting a stranger. Do not think you can stretch the kids in the hebertism games, they close early and if you go they will charge you $100 plus taxes directly on your credit card. The intimacy is zero, we have to spend all our time asking the children to whisper and make less noise so as not to disturb the other campers. In short, go a little further and go your way.

The sites are way too small. There is no garbage can except at the reception. There is only one sanitary site. It is very good for washing dishes however there was no more toilet paper from 7 p.m. and still not in the morning at 9 a.m. The owners are not welcoming, you will have the impression of disturbing. The hebertism site is closed in the evening and you will not want to spend the whole day on the Camping site. Very close to the Dunes of Tadoussac which they are worth the detour.
