Hotel Murano

The amenities aren’t what they used to be. Allot has changed but the staff is amazing.

Nice hotel, best fastest elevators I’ve ever seen. Not happy about paying $26 per night to park. Should have coffee in lobby available, had to go to 4th floor area for coffee, but free refill is nice. Thanks for everything!

The property was a bit disappointing. When I checked in, no one mentioned that housekeeping had to be requested 24 hours in advance. So in 3 days my room was never able to be cleaned. The front desk staff was apathetic to my request. Rooms are basic and WiFi doesn’t work well - well, it didn’t work at all on the 16th floor so I had to go to the lobby to work. Parking lot was often full and there was no valet. Average stay.

For the second consecutive stay the television didn’t work. When we asked maintenance to fix it they told us even if we moved rooms the tv in the other room probably wouldn’t work. Disappointing!

The elevator was frustrating, the key for the upper levels did not work well. The gym equipment had not been serviced and was faulty and the food was adequate.

Hotel lobby and amenities looked very nice from a distance, however I didn't use any of them. I was there only to spend the night with my girlfriend. The room was very average for the rate I paid. There was nothing spectacular worth noting

My husband and I stayed for a Valentines getaway. The hotel lobby is nice, the bedroom appears like any other mid hotel. Early dinner at the restaurant was good. And then it all goes downhill from here. We planned on having a few drinks at the bar and a small app. Turns out they closed the kitchen an hour early on a Saturday. We left the hotel in search of a more lively atmosphere and found nothing. On the way back we could hear a car alarm going off in tbe parking lot. The non covered and non secure lot they charge hotel guests $28/night to park at. Security guard said he just intercepted a car break in. When asked about our vehicle, he shrugged his shoulders and said "It's Tacoma, cars get broken into and stolen weekly". I guess fingers crossed our car is there in the morning. Our King size bed was so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep. The mattress was sloped so my head was a lot lower vs my feet. The cherry on top was zero warm/hot water for a shower the next day. I had a meeting and had to rush home to get ready, skipping breakfast. Hotel lobby tried to excuse lack of hot water on occupancy. Get a bigger tank, you're a hotel. My husband spoke to the manager and was promised a full refund. But they only gave half back and since we used points we don't have enough for another hotel. Promised a foliw up as to why no full refund and heard nothing back. At least they refunded the parking fee. I won't say to avoid Tacoma but when it comes to hotels you should avoid Hotel Murano.
