On the bright side, the room boasted a spacious balcony, scenic views, and comfortable beds—features that might appeal to those seeking a retreat. - Dining: We had reserved a table at the lobby restaurant, but there was a glaring lack of coordination between our reservation and the staff. They struggled with menu details and serving, resulting in a disappointing dining experience. So we went to dine at a nearby restaurant outside of SORANO HOTEL, which offered better service and tastier food at a more reasonable price. - Service: Overall, both hotel and restaurant staff lacked hospitality. Their handling of tasks like check-in and check-out felt unpolished and unprofessional. However, there were a few exceptions, notably the foreign staff in the lounge bar, who provided exceptional service. - Eco-Friendly Concept: Despite promoting ”well-being” and ”eco-friendliness,” the hotel's practices felt inconsistent. For instance, the unlabeled and the unsealed water pitcher in our room, supposedly containing Fuji spring water, left us uneasy. Additionally, the bathroom's plastic cups were scratched and cloudy, lacking cleanliness.

The room was clean and spacious, and the front desk staff were very polite and very comfortable. I thought it was great that I could use the large public bath in the main building. However, I was working and got back to the hotel around 9pm so I couldn't use it, which was disappointing. I'd like to use it again next time.
