The price/performance ratio is very high! The bathroom door design is very useless. It is very difficult to open and close. The bathroom supplies are also empty and not filled in time! There are no slippers. Sometimes I forget to bring them, which is very inconvenient!

A good location in a quiet area. We used only for a night in transit. The rooms are clean and well designed. The only one minus was the absence of the minibar in the room but a service to put some product in the fridge near the reception/bar was offered. In this moment the hotel was in a rehabilitation process and we were informed in the future the minibars will be added. At the reception in the morning were informed there is a possibility at your request to move one minibar from another rooms. The breakfast is very good with a lot of products. The parking on the streets is free on the weekend, the hotel parking will charge you separately if will used.

Good hotel central location in the city center. Quite new hotel with spacious rooms. All well functioning. Underground parking available at 4000 HUF. Nice helpful staff. Breakfast was ok, not super interesting but everything fresh and clean. Good value for money.

Art Hotel is a nicely refurbished hotel in the heart of Szeged, just next to the Cathedral. The rooms are cosy, the breakfast was great with good selection, the personnel was very nice and helpful. They have a terrace with lots of tables for a good drink outside.

+: perfectly located in the heart of Szeged; staff is friendly and helpful; rooms size is nice and large, same goes for the bathroom which is very well equiped and with all needed amenities; breakfast is okay, nothing too wow but it does the job; bed and pillow are very nice, and I'm complicated with those! -: no real bad points. Just think the breakfast may be improved. Appart from that, nothing really. Had a pleasant stay in the hotel for our first time. Would recommend as its price/quality ratio is superb.

Szeged perfect stay. This is 6th or 7th time when I’m staying at this hotel. Major places are within walking distance and not far is a pub where we used to go out. The front desk lady is the best: very good recommendation for restaurants and excursions.

This an excellent hotel in the centre of the city, within walking distance of many very good restaurants. The front desk service was excellent and their English very good. They run a bar service until midnight. The room was all-you-need and in very good condition. I heard the first floor rooms towards the street might be a little noisy. The breakfast was complete with an airy and well serviced buffet. Parking in the street no problem (credit card payment with English instructions), but they also have a reasonably priced garage. Would be happy to come back!

The hotel was relatively clean, the rooms were spacious, there was a kettle, and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. It is also located in the center of Szeged, so it is ideal for sightseeing. However, I decided to lower my rating because of a male staff member. This time, I stayed for one night from August 13th to 14th. When I checked in on the 13th, a male staff member told me that my reservation was for August 23rd to 24th. However, when I checked the ******* website where I made the reservation, it said that I would stay from August 13th to 14th. So when I showed the reservation screen to the staff, they said, "Show it in English." Since I made the reservation on a Japanese website, I cannot display English immediately. So when I said, "If there is a room available, let me stay," they said, "There is not a single room available today." So I made an international call to ******* in Japan from Hungary to confirm, and they said that ******* was correct and it was the hotel's mistake. About 5 minutes after the call, ******* seemed to have responded, and while I was waiting in the lobby, the male staff member called me to the front desk. As a hotel, its location was very central. Szeged is already a magnificent city. Historical buildings near the hotel are within walking distance. We had a short stay, but the room was comfortable and clean. As a set-up, there is a kettle, free water for you to drink, tea and coffee varieties. The breakfast was open buffet, the options were satisfactory. The employees were also extremely presentable. The hotel is visibly showing its age, which is probably why the spa area was closed for renovation. The carpet in the hallways and in the rooms is past its best and urgently needs to be replaced. The room cleaning was not appropriate for a 4-star hotel: towels that were lying on the floor were not changed but hung up again. The beds were not made properly, and a towel lying under the covers was simply left lying there. There were strangers' hairs on the bathroom floor and the shower wall showed clear signs of use. On two evenings we sat in the beautiful courtyard at around 9 p.m. We were not asked what we wanted to drink, the waiter on duty just cleared the tables next to us and collected the seat cushions. Service: None. The breakfast buffet had improved since our last stay a few years ago.
