This hotel is ideally located across the street from the beaches. Very clean and well maintained rooms and swimming pool. Only downside was the chaos during the breakfast times. There are not enough tables accommodate all the hotel patrons. Ran out of most breakfast items by 9:15. Only the waffle machines were working which meant a very long time waiting for the waffle irons. All in all the staff did the best they could to keep things flowing!! No complaints regarding the staff what so ever.

Unfortunately we stayed at the hotel when they hosted a large number of youth lacrosse players. I think that some of the boys might have been staying in rooms by themselves. Unsupervised for sure. The running up and down the hallways continued until way after our bedtime. A late call to the front desk resulted in a response that they would” try”to look into it but it continued until late in the night. For the money, it wasn’t much of a restful night. Young boys will be boys but hotel managers don’t get a pass for doing nothing. We travel quite a bit but I don’t think that we’ll consider them again. I have communicated my issues to the Chateau Inn and Corporate Best Western.

Our stay was very nice, thanks to the hot tub being in good working condition. The room we had on the second floor was clean and comfortable, but furnishings and carpet were very outdated. Felt like we were back in the seventies, with the orangegy carpet and furnishings. Couldn’t get an upgraded room for some reason as they said there was a conference, but it was obvious by the parking lot and people that was not true.

We stay in July and October. Nice location at one end of the beach and busy *****. Check in was fine with nice friendly staff. We were able to stay in two types of room. The back ones face the parking lot and town and the front facing the lake and a big building which might block some rooms view of the lake. We had a decent partial view in Room 311. The hotel is across the road and a short walk to the beach. Also, a pharmacy and liquor store across the street. Room had everything we needed, microwave, TV, wifi, fridge, coffeemaker, sitting chair wit footstool, work desk, tub/shower, adequate amenities, all good. Included breakfast, the usual, eggs, sausage, potatoes, breads, cereals, yogurt, waffles, coffee/tea, fruit. Almost the same every day but sometimes might to try cereal or porridge. One day there was a French toast casserole, not my favourite, it was sweet and offered no protein. On days like that, some boiled eggs would be a nice alternative. Overall, nice hotel, included parking on site, good location with nice staff, have stayed twice and would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Chateau Inn at Sylvan Lake, Alberta. The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming. It was so very nice to enjoy this beautiful town during the off season without all the crowds that they normally have during the summer months!

Great location just across the road from the lake and next to the main road of bars and restaurants. Spacious room, comfy beds and pillows. Solid breakfast options. Only slight comment would be that the main plug sockets were on the wall opposite the beds as opposed to next to the bedside tables.

Excellent Location to beach, shops and Amenities. Good breakfast, with lots of available food choices. Nice, comfortable firm (but not hard), bed with good linens and pillows. Bring your plug-ins for charger as there was no direct USB charger in the room that I could see. My room faced the lake and was a lovely morning view.

The toilet paper and Kleenex were the worst. So thin and so rough. I think they need to upgrade the quality of these items in the rooms. The staff was great. The room was clean and beds comfy. As far as the room itself it was just okay. The HDMI cord was not hooked up on the TV that was clearly very old. And no way to hook cord up as TV was mounted on the wall. But overall it was a good stay.
