Great room, location and the best pub food I’ve eaten

First of all, there is no elevator which is quite disadvantageous as it’s very difficult to carry your luggages 2 floors up. Secondly, the room is small, quite outdated, tiny bathroom and the lighting feels like a camping setup. If you had booked the room with breakfast, please check the timing as it’s only open from 7.30am, so if you had an earlier flight this is not useful. Overall, the location is good and close to airport with only about 5-10mins away with taxi.

This hotel is above a pub. When checking in, you have to find a bartender, which may be a little confusing at first. But the staff was very friendly and helped me with my luggage. It is more like a hotel apartment, but the environment and facilities are good. It is also close to the airport, and the taxi cost is about 15 Australian dollars. Very suitable for people leaving for the airport in the morning.

The futon was fluffy and very comfortable to sleep on. There was a pub on the first floor, but I was able to sleep without it bothering me too much. Amenities were provided, so basic living was not an issue. If I had to say one thing, I would say that if the water pressure and temperature control of the bath shower could be improved, it would be perfect.

Great service apartment, very close to airport and only 15minutes by metro to downtown. Around the hotel are a lot of shops and restaurants-perfect for a city trip top Sydney. Only disadvantage is, the checkout is before 10am, it can be extended to 11, after that the hotel will charge something extra.

This hotel is in Newtown where you can enjoy sightseeing. In my opinion, it is very easy to travel from this hotel because there is a bus stop in front of it. Moreover, this hotel has a shuttle bus service which can drop you off at the airport. It’s very comfortable for me. I like it🫶🏼.

This hotel is very good, with convenient transportation. There is a train station and a supermarket 100 meters away. There is a small cloakroom in the room. It is very convenient to store luggage. There is also an induction cooker, microwave and tableware. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic.

Highly recommend book the stay for an early flight 😊the best service bar on hotel rooftop bar -On Cloud 9, the view is absolutely amazing. Can enjoy a beautiful sunset on airport clouds from nowhere 👍👍👍👍👍

Love the room! Clean, spacious, comfy sofa and bed. They provided soap, shampoo, conditioners, and lotion, but not toothpaste and toothbrush though. Location is perfect; within walking distance to bus stop, train station, coffee shops, restaurants, and Woolies (supermarket), and just needed to take one bus trip to the airport. Definitely will come back when visiting Sydney in the future!

Flying from Brisbane to Sydney, I stayed at the Travelodge for 1 night before catching an international flight the next morning. I arrived at T2 with time to spare before check in so walked to the Hotel. ( use the exit by baggage carousel 3 cross the road turn right and follow your nose, being 66yo I prefer to follow my nose than trust Google ) The walk takes 15-20 minutes. The rooms as expected were functional and clean. There is a bar in the lobby. There is also a bistro on the ground floor near the elevators which I only saw after returning with food that I had walked back to T2 to purchase something for dinner. The Travelodge is down a side street and therefore probably quieter than other Hotels, such as Quest, which are on the main road. Having the shuttle bus to the International Terminal ( $10 ) right next door is a big convenience. For the benefit of light sleepers the rooms on the left hand side of the Hotel are under a flight path, planes are easily heard, though there is a curfew ( as I understand it ) between 11pm and 6am at T2 and T3. Travelodge is comfortable and clean and I recommend for a stay near the airport.
