Premier Inn Stoke/Trentham Gardens

Marjory, Paul, jake and Charlie have been such fabulous staff. Helping me out every morning and evening making bottles for my two babies, without making any fuss. I really appreciate this as making milk in a hotel can be challenging. They made us feel welcome and I really appreciate it. I would highly recommend any families wanting to stay with little ones, the ground floor rooms are very roomy too and the staff are very helpful. Thank you very much we will come to stay again soon :)

Check in great, although there was a lack of signage to direct you to the lifts or stairs to the rooms. Large room and although overlooking a busy room was very quiet. A bit odd having the wash basin in the room, but as I was on my own it didn't really bother me. Comfortable beds, one double and a made up single, which I didn't need. Ist hotel I've been in with no phone. A bit isolating if you're on your own. What I was really disappointed with was the fact that there was no comfortable chair in the room to sit and read/knit/watch television. I couldn't spend hours either sitting on the bed or on the desk chair. I asked at reception if there was a possibility of having a chair brought to the room, but was told there were none in any bedroom. I ended up sitting in the reception area for an hour to save my back from seizing up. I'd like to know your reasons for this one disappointing feature.

The staff, location and breakfast was great but the hotel itself needs a re-dec. Our breakfast table was so wobbly we had to move, paint flaking and looking tired and furnishings starting to get past their best Overall it was quiet, clean and we had a good nights sleep.

Having stayed at several Premier Inns I booked this one with the view “you know what you’re getting!”, however was quite disappointed with this one. Positives staff were friendly, comfy bed, quiet rooms & free parking. Negatives didn’t like the bathroom layout glass door not very private even for a married couple! Hair dryer was useless & only 1 hand towel provided although this was soon sorted by lady on reception. Ripped curtain in the room. Rooms are very dated & definitely need a refurb. Breakfast was ok but please change the “orange juice” if that’s what you could even call it, very watery squash would have been a better description.

Excellent staff, very helpful , Simon, who I believe was Restaurant manager and possibly Also in charge with the kitchens was an excellent Post. I asked him a question about the position Of fillet steak and that spot a really good conversation he and his team were very good at keeping the Restaurant Flowing. The rumours were good and as a disabled person I was treated very well. We’re going back For a night on our way home and I really looking forward to it thanks to all the staff

Virtually everything OK but...glass doors on the toilets!!! OK in a single room but we won't stay there again.

We arrived after 2100 had a few minutes wait as there were several customers arriving at the same time, nothing to complain about when we were servered. Nice clean room, quiet location. Sadly the 10.99 breakfast wasn't anything to sing about, the food wasn't above luke warm which at 10.99 I'd expect hot food. Choice was ok. Recommended just think twice before buying breakfast!

The hotel is in a great location but though we use Premier Inns we wouldn't stay here again. It was clean enough and the staff were friendly .. but.. the bedrooms are weird. For some reason the hand basin is in the bedroom, not in the shower room with the toilet.. also the toilet door is frosted glass (which is alarmingly almost see through when the light is on) which gives almost zero privacy. Sleep quality was good, breakfast was excellent if slow because the normal buffet service was suspended (25 minutes wait for our breakfasts to be cooked). So all in all, adequate rather than good and not anywhere we'll return to. Shame.
