Wood can be purchased at ACE Hardware or Walmart Neighborhood Market. Please only use it in the designated sand area. Dispose of ashes in the metal trash can. NO PETS. RV IN THE BACK: The Airstream in the backyard is not part of the rental. It is locked. Please leave it alone. POOL: Please see the pool section of p. 4 SEPTIC: The house is on septic. Do not flush anything down the toilet but toilet paper. Feminine products should be placed in the trash can. Please do not put oil down the kitchen sink: make a foil boat and place it into the trash can or use an empty container. FOOD SCRAPS: There is no garbage disposal since the home is on septic. Please place food waste into the garbage. PROVIDED ITEMS: We provide an initial supply of paper towels, trash bags and toilet paper. If you have a longer stay you will need to purchase additional supplies. Pool Heater Details: we do offer the guests the option to pay $50/day to heat the pool. We have a 3 day minimum. You must prearrange the heating dates (before arrival.) If the weather is warm and heating is not needed you may cancel at any time prior to the heat being turned on. The pool does take 12-24 hrs to heat to temp and that time is included in the 3 day minimum. If the temperature is extremely low heating may not be an option. The large open concept living room and kitchen is great for gatherings and entertaining. The fenced in backyard has a private pool, comfy loungers, patio furniture, commercial umbrellas, and outdoor dining table with string lights for dinners by the pool! The sunroom has beach essentials such as towels, chairs, umbrella, and sand toys. From the backyard, you can catch the Blue Angels practicing overhead as they prepare for their upcoming air shows. Plenty of parking is available in the front and side driveways (can fit up to 8 cars or bring your boat! Public boat launch just 1 mile down the road). We are dog friendly and love to see our furry guests come along for vacation. Beaches aren't your thing? The neighborhood park has two tennis courts available for use, a playground, and there are lots of walking trails in the adjoining National Seashore and Nature Preserve.
