"We are a family of three with a 10-year-old, and we stayed at The Embassy Angkor Resort and Spa for 3 nights. The overall experience was excellent. The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was very good. There’s a menu to order from, offering everything from spaghetti to Chinese porridge—freshly made, simple, yet delicious. Both my husband and I especially enjoyed the sliced fish porridge.
The hotel spa offers a 1.5-hour hot compress massage at $34++, which we found very worthwhile. The masseuses were professional, and the spa itself was clean with a soothing atmosphere. The hotel also provides complimentary tuk-tuk service to the downtown area, which made getting around the city very convenient.
Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. The only minor drawback was that the hot water supply was not strong enough during peak hours (around 8–9 pm), so we couldn’t fully enjoy the bathtub as the water temperature was too low. Other than that, we had nothing to complain about. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Siem Reap."
