Forest Park Resort & SPA

This was the biggest disappointment and scam in the area. Encouraged by a nice website and friendly phone service, we booked a weekend with our child – but the reality turned out to be completely different. The hotel is not prepared for the number of guests. Everywhere feels cramped. The lack of parking spaces is just the beginning! At breakfast or lunch people stumble over chairs crammed too close together, and even then you have to wait in line for a free table – we waited half an hour just for breakfast! The pool? Just one small, overcrowded pool for three huge buildings (and another one is still under construction). There is no chance to rest – instead of the promised panoramic view, we got the noise of construction machines and a view of the building site. The hotel advertises itself as family-friendly, but that’s just for show. There is only one playroom, no facilities for strollers (stairs everywhere, we had to carry the stroller). There are no easy passages between buildings, we had to walk with the stroller on the street. No green areas outside – just a parking lot. In the Lumina room, half of the things didn’t even work. You also have to pay extra for a baby crib. And in the apartment, the bedroom had… no window! I feel cheated. This is not the standard of a four-star hotel. I strongly advise against staying here – it’s better to look for something else in the area and not fall for their marketing tricks. I also suggest reading genuine reviews from accounts with more than 3 posts. The hotel’s high rating is very suspicious. Nothing here matches what they promise.
