We experienced a delightful stay at this lovely Guest House. Conveniently situated, allowed us to explore part of Swellendam. Our hosts were kindness personified, very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast after a comfortable night too was excellent.

Overnight stop en route to Cape Town. Second time I have stayed at Bergview - it is a most pleasant experience. Great sized room, comfortable bed, nice shower and all the simple facilities that you need for an overnight stay. Handy to local facilities and eateries. Very friendly and most welcoming.

We spent one night at Bergview on our road trip and stayed in Delft, the smallest of the rooms. We found the room to be perfectly good for the night - clean and tidy with a comfy bed, a kettle and hospitality tray. Despite being away when we stayed, Lidia kindly offered to make our dinner reservation. Great to be able to safely walk back after supper. We met Brent and the lovely Veronica who prepared our breakfast. Good value for money.

I can highly recommend this guesthouse. Very cosy, lovely pool to cool off in. Lidia was so friendly and made us a fantastic breakfast. Easy walking distance to restaurants. Safe parking. Will stay longer next time.

We had a great stay! The breakfast was very nice and the hospitality was special on personal level. The Guesthouse location was beautifel with a view of the mountains. We highly recommend the Bergview Guesthouse.

I am more than happy to have here the chance to recommend this lovely guesthouse. We had the most pleasant stay in cozy and spotless rooms, with lovely details and nothing what could be improved. We loved everything here and of course the pool area has to be highlighted here as well.

Host was very accomodating in assisting to change our booking at the last moment. Place was very neat and clean. Beautiful guest house with amazing view. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious

Lidia was very helpfull from the moment we started making reservation, incl booking restaurant. Location is nice, beautiful garden around well protected area. Comfortable bed in good size room. Several good restaurants close by
