This Premier inn is central just a few mins for the MetroCentre.Bed comfortable.Slept very well.On this occasion we didn't eat in the evening .We have in the past.Breakfast delicious. All staff friendly and the room has everything we needed. Well done premier inn, you've done it again.Looking forward to another stay in a premier in again.

Have been coming here for many years with a large group, booking multiple rooms. Will never return again. Rooms have always been poor to a Premier Inn standard, but this year were awful. In one the shower wouldn't turn off, in another there was a constant dripping, in another the bathroom fan wouldn't turn off and in one the air conditioning controller buzzed all night. We were warned the restaurant was on a reduced scale, but it was embarrassing, struggling to accommodate even small numbers. Overnight reception staff on one night were outright rude and displaying complete lack of customer service skills. We'll be going elsewhere next time.

Good stay with family whilst visiting family in the area, it is a little dated and missing some of the features of the newer Premier Inns. We had an issue with the heating in our room which we advised reception about - the thermostat didn't turn the heater off so it just got hotter and hotter! Good location, free parking, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and nice breakfast

Wrote my vehicle registration number on the checking/booking in form - the receptionist obviously didn't log my registration number and I've ended up with a parking ticket. Tried to telephone reception to get this rectified and continuously no answer. Won't be staying here again.

My wife and I were going to the newcastle united football match and wanted to stay overnight, the Premier inn metro centre was a perfect choice for location and value for money as we enjoyed a free breakfast offer. The staff are friendly and the room did need some redecoration but was clean and warm. Plenty of car parking too.

This was the closest available room to the airport. When I arrived the greeting was very good, the staff were excellent and very helpful. Once in the room I found hair clips on the floor and the bedside table had drink stains on it, this did not provide me with confidence. I had arrived late and just needed the bed for the night but there was music playing until the early hours. In the morning there was no hot water so had to manage with a cold shower. I didn't have time to raise the issue as I had to be at the airport. On checking out I reported the matter and the lady on the reception was very good about it....but what could she do? The staff were very good, but I was not impressed with my stay.

Lovely welcome and offer to book tables for us for dinner and/or breakfast. Receptionist was really friendly and chatted to us about our plans for the weekend. Room was clean and as expected for a Premier Inn. Convenient for visiting Metro Centre. Would recommend.

Arrived by train .Not recommended as this hotel is a good 30 mins walk from the station and from the metrocentre itself.In parts there is no pavement so had to go on road and cross a busy roundabout. Hotel room sparse with hardly any tea and coffee and just 2 glass mugs for them,No glasses.Nice breakfast ,Had cooked to order and buffet choice good.For the price i paid with special offer of free breakfast cant complain too much but its no good if you dont arrive by car.
