Stopped for a night on my way to Austria (11/12.09). Very good location - close to downtown but quiet. Nice beer hall next door (as a hotel guest you get either coffee or shot of Schnaps on the house). Easy to park - directly underneath (7€ for 24 hours). Smooth and efficient check-in, the gentleman working there could easily work at a 5 star hotel. Rooms are the same as in all B&B but sufficient and, what is very important, have AC. Can’t fault anything, unbeatable for the price.

I arrived early and parked in the garage below the hotel. The room was already available so they let me check in. I think the Leonardo Hotel is fairly new. Everything was quite clean and fresh. You need your room key to activate the elevator to go to your floor. I thought this was very clear but so many of my fellow guests were confused and I had to explain. Perhaps this would be better clarified during check in. Through helping other people, I also found out that the key only works for your floor and you can't access other floors. During my three night stay, I rode the elevator with quite a few confused people. There is bottled water in the room when you check in and it's complimentary. In the bathroom, the soap, shampoo and body wash are all one bottle/formulation. There is no conditioner. I didn't have the breakfast at the hotel but I did have dinner at the restaurant one night. It was good but I thought it was funny that I tried to order beer and they were out of a lot of it, as well as some of the menu items. The kimchi and hummus were delicious, and the signature drink was very interesting. My colleague and I needed a place to work on our computers one day and this hotel doesn't really have common/lobby space in which to do that because the restaurant area is closed outside of mealtimes. We sat in one of the conference rooms but a staff member chased us out. That's one improvement that I think this hotel could make (a place to sit and work and plug in a laptop), especially because it seemed like we were not the only business trip people there.

If you travel by train you can reach the hotel via Central Station Augsburg with the direct bus route 740. The closest bus stop “Koenigsbrunn Zentrum” is just a 5-minute walk from our hotel.

We are on day 9 of being in Bavaria and I think our 5th or 6th hotel. This is by far the best and most comfortable. The bed is so awesome. The staff are welcoming. Two big drawbacks; no air conditioning and finding the actual hotel location. We arrived late at night, I had made a reservation and paid ahead of time. We were so frustrated at not being able to find the hotel we drove about 10 minutes away and were going to check into a Holiday Inn Express. The guy at the front desk there was sooooo sweet, when I told him we were unable to find the NinetyNine Hotel, he did everything but drive us to the front door. He printed off directions and told us exactly what to look for! It's located next to the Universitat Augsburg a sort of industrial area on the outskirts of town. When we woke up in the day time we realized the GPS had taken us right next to the hotel but there are no visible neon signs at night. I am really glad we wound up finding it. They hotel is big on sustainability and animal conservation and awareness. The decor is wonderfully strange yet welcoming with butterflies 🦋, monkeys, fish 🐟 and other animals all around. There is a full bar in the lobby, breakfast is available and a small refrigerator in the lobby with drinks for sale. Oh and it is located above the Rewe grocery store and you get access to the fitness center right next door. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

We chose to return our rental car here in Augsburg and catch a train to Salzburg here to avoid the crowds in Munich for Oktoberfest. This was a much bigger city than I expected. It is also a college town. While traveling in the USA, Holiday Inn Express are usually a safe bet for a one night stay. We were not disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable as was the bed. This is only one of 2 hotels that had AC out of the 10 we stayed in. Breakfast was the usual Holiday Inn buffet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Made sure out taxi arrived on time. There is a great burger place across the street that you should try. All and all, we were glad we chose this hotel and would recommend it if you are traveling thru Augsburg.

Hotel nuovo in zona periferica ma molto comodo in quanto dispone di parcheggio esterno gratuito, prezzo basso, camera nuova, moderna e funzionale. Per muoversi è necessaria l’auto. Augusta su trova a pochi chilometri ed il parcheggio sotto il centro commerciale adiacente al centro ha un prezzo bassissimo.

GGuest UserThis is the best hotel if you are planning to visit Castle of Neuschwanstein. Make sure you booke the main building. We booked the Jagerhaus by mistake. It is a seperate building just a few steps away but the decor is very old style and nothing like the modern ”MAIN” building. We were able to discuss with the front desk and upgrade for a small price to the main building. Breakfast was very nice in the main building.....another reason to stay there.....what you would expect from a boutique 5 star in the area.
The spa (pool and sauna) is fantastic. Amazing view of outside while enjoying either.

GGuest UserWell the location is amazing!! You can walk anywhere from the hotel which is a bonus but you pay for that bonus too. It is expensive to stay here, the rooms are large and basically bare. Clean and only one pillow per person. To walk to the room took some time due to the largeness of the corridors - sometimes you think you need a map! Beds were ok, not the best not the worse! Buffet breakfast was very good, lots of options and good quality. Probably wouldn’t stay again would look around for a smaller more personable hotel. The underground parking under the hotel has limited, very limited parking in an extremely tight carpark took multiple turns to even get in! Would not recommend that but near the information centre there is a large well lit multi storey parking garage and open 24/7 and wasn’t expensive! The town is beautiful and well worth the visit.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located near the hospital, around 5 km (3 miles) away from the city center. You can visit the city by tram or by taxi/Uber. The hotel has spacious rooms (for European standards) and it is clean. The beds are comfortable. But what I liked the best is the attitude of the personnel. They are *ALL* very kind, ready to help you with anything, and very accommodating. One thing you need to keep in mind, though, is that the reception is not open 24 hrs. If you leave after hours (e.g., early morning) you need to check out the night before and then you leave the room key in your room. Another great feature is the quality of the breakfast buffet they have. you really need to try it! It includes eggs (hard-boiled and scrabbled), an assortment of cured meats and cheeses, freshly baked croissants and various breads, sweets, and a bunch of other items. If breakfast is not included in the room price, it costs 15 Euros (and it is well worth it!) Around the hotel there are not too many things to do. You can have dinner there or walk 7-8 min to go to a nearby biergarten (Grill 'n Chill). But be aware that at certain times at night, sitting outside makes you a mosquito target. If you are going to the Munich airport they can recommend you a taxi/limo service, which operates a direct shuttle service for 50 Euros (they have more expensive options if you do not want to share your drive). This is a great deal since the railway ticket costs 29 Euros, you need to get a taxi to the station (I paid 15 Euros for Uber), and you need to change trains in Munich. So, if you need to stay near the hospital or you want a very good place to stay while visiting Augsburg, this is a great choice.

We booked a lake view room, the room was big enough and the view was beautiful. There is also an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, indoors or a heated swimming pool, facilities and equipment are really very good.

DDaAnderWe chose this hotel as our base during a three-day bike tour and did not regret it. We got what is now rare, even a three-bed room. A family-run hotel where you feel well lifted. A service always pre-eminent, an excellent kitchen, cared beer and a breakfast buffet that doesn't leave any wishes open. And our bikes were allowed to stay in the garage. The Old Factory of the brewery ”Camba Bavaria” is located in a range of ranges with a real beer garden, as well as reading ”Craft Beer” specialities.

We have searched for and found a cheap accommodation on the journey to the holidays. Therefore we were ready to take off, which we had not to do here. nice, helpful, young crew at the reception. Clean, attractive room, facilities functional, fresh. Flattery air conditioning, which we have enjoyed in “monkey heat”. Breakfast ok, for the price called super( adults 10€/ children4€) All in all a fantastic price performance ratio!

GGuest UserIt was two nights alone in a room with double bed, so it was enough for me. Many landscapes, some sticks. Useful: open clothes ”bar” and boxes, but for two nights and alone it is possible. Personal friendly, breakfast good. Improvement proposals: When staying two days, the towels should not be changed (except, If desired), and an overview plan (as available in the info point) of Augsburg would be a nice service - especially since the hotel is central and maybe some come to the sightseeing.

GGuest UserFive minutes walk from the train station, two minutes to the commercial street, the location is very good. The facilities are new, clean and sanitary. It is not recommended to eat here if you do not send breakfast. Foreigners are used to cold, but Chinese are not used to it. All in all, the price is suitable and recommended to stay.
