Nice common space but the kitchen is a bit messy. The location is a bit far from the main road, but it is very quiet.
The hot tub was not open for guest as described during our stay.

This guesthouse offers quite basic accommodation, but the bed was comfortable, and everywhere was clean. The rooms were small, with a wash basin, and shared toilets and shower room across the hall. Only one shower on our floor, plus two extra toilets. We didn't have to wait to use them, but there must be bottle-necks at times. The hot tubs were good, and we enjoyed sitting by the large window, looking out at the night sky. The breakfast was quite basic, but enough to start the day. The kitchen was open if you needed to prepare some food, or just make a coffee. We ate at the nearby petrol station, as we couldn't find anywhere else. The burgers were freshly cooked so it was fine.

Hlín Guesthouse was perfect for a one night stay. The rooms were clean and it was a nice atmosphere. The breakfast was very simple and we didn’t have much to say about it. The hotel was in a good location as not many hotels were nearby. One problem was that our window would not close leading to a very chilly night.

The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast a little spartan. This is a good place to stay if you are traveling on a budget. It was a little below our expectations. Plus no dinner places within reasonable driving distance.

Unbeatable value for money, but I wouldn't recommend it because the rooms don't have bathrooms, and the shared ones aren't very pleasant. However, it's more than adequate for a night's stay.

Perfect location for those wanting to tour Iceland's Ring Road. Very spacious and well-stocked kitchen. The outdoor hot tubs with spectacular views were much appreciated! Hairdryer not provided. A bathrobe for the outdoor hot tubs would have been nice! Overall, fantastic value, considering we paid €75 for a night in low season, while the average for other accommodations was over €100.
