No tickets are required in Tongli after 17:00, but there are no shops open after 17:00. It takes about 30 minutes by car to Suzhou city The hotel environment is quite good. The indoor and outdoor amusement park in the second phase is free. The ones in the resort are outsourced and charge a fee. There is table tennis but only one table. There is a fee for billiards but there is only one table. The hotel has small animals for feeding, including white geese, squirrels, chickens, pigeons, ducks, and dogs.

Location: Very close to the entrance of the scenic spot! You can park near the hotel. Although it is charged, it is more convenient than the free parking lot. Room: The photos of the merchant are consistent with the actual scene, what you see is what you get. The air conditioning is very powerful and the attic is not too hot. The sound insulation is good, you can hear the singing in the bar when you open the window, but it's quiet when you close it. Breakfast: Porridge with snacks, you can also choose wontons or noodles, the taste is light and not greasy. Attractions: The ancient town is large in area, the crowds are dispersed, the main roads are not crowded, and the alleys are quieter. There are also Tuisi Garden, Pearl Tower, Geng Le Hall, Jiameng Hall... there are not many people, so you can take your time to play. Compared with the tourist attractions where a lot of people follow the crowd, I’m so glad I chose Tongli!

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the Xinjiangnan parking lot, and you can reach the hotel just across the small wooden bridge. The parking lot is charged, and the boss gave us a parking card when we left the hotel. The environment of the B&B is very good, antique, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete. Good value for money, and the boss's service is warm and thoughtful. Recommend friends to place orders with confidence.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Room was great. Hotel spans over a few separated buildings which gives privacy and feels like you're not staying in a hotel. We stayed 3 days but this is too long and we would recommend 1 or 2 days at most. The hotel is in a quiet area of the old town, but close enough to stroll a few hundred meters to experience the hustle and bustle. You'll need tickets to enter the scenic area to get to the hotel, but the friendly hostess helped us with this. Contact her before you arrive to save time. Scenic area: Lovely little water town. Three beautiful old homes with immaculate gardens. Our favorite one was Tuisi garden. Wake up early to avoid the crowds. The food inside the scenic area is not great (we suspect it's pre-cooked by a company that supplies to all the restaurants inside the scenic area) but going through the main gate provides for a lot of better options. Watch out for the residents on their motorbikes!

For this family reunion, we came to Tongli Ancient Town and stayed at Meichengli Hotel. It is relatively close to the gate of the ancient town, and there are many restaurants around. I booked 4 rooms, and the hotel upgraded the room. My friends said that the price is very good. The only downside is that there are too few parking spaces in the hotel. If the parking lot is full, we have to go to the Zhennan parking lot outside the ancient town. Although it is not far away, it is still a bit inconvenient to carry luggage. I am satisfied with everything else!

Taking parents out for a trip, the elderly wanted to go to Tongli Ancient Town, so I took a lot of thought to choose accommodation. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with our 10 month old during Golden Week. Pros: - Hotel is self-contained and there is no need to leave the hotel. There are large and well-maintained grounds for our daily walks with baby, including museums and traditional pagodas dotted throughout the property. There is a chinese, western (steak, pizza) and japanese (teppanyaki) restaurant within the hotel. There is also a kids play room and swimming pool, along with some other kid friendly activities like rabbit feeding and games on the lawn. - The hotel is right next to the lake and is quite beautiful. It's very relaxing to stroll along the lake. - There is an ancient town about 15 minutes walk from the hotel's main lobby. There is a free hotel shuttle to and from the ancient town too. - Staff are generally friendly and helpful - Large, family-friendly rooms are available. We stayed in a lake view suite, which was just right for us and our baby. - Hotel is affordable by international standards - Hotel is less than 2 hours drive from Shanghai, where we live - We particularly enjoyed the teppenyaki restaurant where you can get a private room and a private chef to cook your meals - Despite it being Golden Week, we didn't feel that the hotel was too crowded. Perhaps because the hotel has large grounds. Cons - The baby cot given to us had an extremely thin and uncomfortable mattress. To compensate, we were given a comforter to pad the mattress. However, this is unsafe for younger babies, who should sleep on a firm surface. - The property and facilities are a bit dated - There were very loud weddings on the lawn facing the lake each day that we were at the hotel. The loud music and emceeing disturbed the peaceful ambience of the place, and also disrupted baby's morning and afternoon naps. For families with children who still need to nap in the day, it may be better to stay in a quieter garden view room instead of a room facing the lake.

The inn is in the ancient town scenic area. It is a beautiful river to go out. It is also very convenient to take a cruise. The rooms are very large and clean. The key proprietress is really warm and caring! The surrounding is quiet, the whole ancient town is quieter, and it will not be noisy to live in the scenic area. It is more quiet than Wuzhen. It is close to Zhouzhuang, Yangcheng Lake, etc., but the price is really high. In the future, Jiangsu will come here for a small stay!
