The location Is very good, just right beside the Suzhou Train station. But jt could be a little bit noisy at night as the hotel is just right beside the main road. Anyway this is not a big problem for us. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The staffs are friendly and they gave us some bread and cookies upon check in. And to my surprise, i received a small souvenir from them upon check out as well which i believe it's a handmade souvenir with Suzhou ginko leaf. I like it a lot. Thank you!

Arrived past 2pm the rooms were not ready. So we went for lunch at the hotel noddle place. After lunch, past 3 pm only one room was ready. The room I had was suppose to be non smoking but someone smoked in the room and it lingered in the bed; pillow etc. we couldn’t change it as hotel was fully booked. So I had to suck it up. Maybe the hotel should impose a cleaning and deodorizer fee as a penalty or as a deterrent for people who smoke in a non-smoking rooms. The room heating didn’t keep the room warm. The explanation was the insulation is poor and they gave me a portable heater. The other room had carpet ( mine has floor cold floorboards) and there were no cigarette stench and it was warm. So my advise is to get a room with carpet. Breakfast room was lovely, the breakfast was okay, however you won’t get any staff attention. The saving grace was the Panmen Garden which you should visit both day and night. It was great because it’s not busy as everyone else goes to the Humble administrator garden. So there are ample photo opportunities without swarms of tourist. However the promised Panmen scenic area tour with the hotel is no longer available. The hotel should not list it as an experience you can have when you book and room. Overall it’s a beautiful hotel with unique character due to it history and many dignitaries stay here. Being attached to Panmen garden was a plus. You will need to take a DiDi for Suzhou other attractions. Free Hanfu experience was good as my daughter got to utilized it. We also dined at the 4th floor Italian restaurant which serves very good Italian food. Hotel staff are helpful. Wi-Fi is non existent due to full capacity of the hotel and the bandwidth is just insufficient to support the load and it also depends where your room is situated.

We stayed 1 night from 3-4 Nov. A really good and affordable hotel to stay at in Suzhou. The receptionists (one senior and one new guy) were very kind and helpful. They offered to carry our luggages up and down as there's no lift to the hotel. The room was also very spacious and they even provided an amenities kit - sewing kit. Overall a 10/10, we will definitely return again.

Modern and clean room. Some small disappointment is a view that can’t see much thing even I’m on higher floor because it faced to the other side, while I booked this hotel with expectation to see Pants Tower. (Suzhou Center) The location is not very close to public transportation. I walked from metro, quite far. So when I return, I took Didi to train station instead. Surrounded with construction. So not sure when those construction will be completed in the future. Oh! And one worst thing is the air conditioning in autumn. Even though it’s cold outside the building, but in the room, without air conditioning and ventilation, it’s too hot and difficult to breathe. I asked for some help so I received a small fan that can help a bit. But still not comfortable to sleep. At least if I can open the window a bit, it will be much better. What I like most here is the lobby decoration that’s full of books. Breakfast is various and nice, too.

Perfect location, with plenty of restaurants around. Bus stop across the street and subway station just a short walk. Front desk and housekeeping staff is very helpful. Rooms are comfortable, housekeeping every day, including two bottles of water. A very good value!

Service is excellent. Nice staff with good manners. Will recommend to stay. Not quite a bad place and is near to Shantang street. Good pickup service from Suzhou Train Station. On top of that there is free laundry. Tried out the HanFu (traditional costume) which is complementary.

Excellent location, about 20min walk to Pingjiang Street and Humble Administrator's Garden, perfect for attending the night tour at the garden (6pm onwards, approx an hour). Also directly opposite a street full of eateries. Front desk were helpful and friendly, and able to help with booking of day tours for solo travellers. Also patiently answered all my questions about the wheres and whats during my arrival, making my trip in Suzhou so much better. Room was comfortable and clean with ample hot water for showering. Spacious for one, but might be a little cramped for two.

The hotel room is very large and clean. The details of the disposable toilet pad are really great. The young lady at the front desk is also very enthusiastic. We have a foreigner here who handles it very quickly and our luggage is all the front desk lady help to carry it to the door of the room. We also arranged a free parking space for us. The layout of the room is also very good. The lobby is clean and tidy. It is very particular to see this store. There is also a small garden pond behind the lobby. The fish in the pond is better than one. It is 50 meters away from the lion forest. Humble Administrator's Garden Subo is just a few minutes away, and Pingjiang Road is also a few minutes away. It takes a few minutes to be huge and convenient.

The house number is relatively low-key, except that the quilt is a bit thin, the air conditioning is not very good, and the overall is quite good. The room is large and spacious, the decoration is very interesting, the radiator and electric blanket are very comfortable. Also, the room is basically the same as the home page introduction, which room is given to you, the photo and the actual unity, what you see is what you get, great The first black block on the right is the store name signboard, just on the side of the road but low-key (missed if you don't pay attention). It seems that I forgot to take a photo of the room. The second one is the perspective of entering the door. The left is the room. The room floor is quite high. The old house was changed to a homestay. The partition walls of the room are all original wooden board doors. The floor should also be wooden, so there is no way to sound insulation like a hotel. But because the room has a small hall, it can block some sound a little. In short, don't ask for soundproof thieves to pull the wooden wall + wooden door.
