The hotel is absolutely stunning; its ambiance alone makes it a top-tier establishment in China. It's unparalleled and definitely worth a stay. The owner has impeccable taste. A special shout-out goes to Hotel Manager Wang, who truly upholds the hotel's quality and service. Manager Wang is incredibly knowledgeable and shared many fascinating historical anecdotes with us; we learned a great deal from him. I've already given a full five-star rating, but I still want to point out a few things for potential improvement. When the butler first contacted me, she immediately asked if we'd be dining at the hotel. She provided a price list and mentioned a 15% service charge. I replied that I'd check the reviews first. Upon checking Dianping, I found that the same prices listed there did not include a service charge. During dinner at the restaurant, we had just returned from outside, feeling hot and thirsty, so we repeatedly asked the waiter for water. After several requests, the waiter finally brought us plain water. However, he immediately followed up by suggesting, 'How about some white tea?' I agreed to the white tea for myself, adding that my child would prefer water. To my surprise, after the meal, I was charged for the tea. While 78 yuan for two people isn't a huge amount, I felt it should have been communicated upfront. I didn't originally ask for tea, so this felt a bit like forced consumption. Combined with the earlier issue of the service charge, it left a rather unpleasant impression. That evening, including us, there were only three tables occupied in the restaurant. I noticed the waiters informed other tables that they could order more if the portions weren't sufficient, but this was never mentioned to us. The ambiance truly is a winner and absolutely superb. However, I feel these small oversights somewhat detract from the image of a high-end boutique garden hotel.

The ambiance is elegant, tranquil, and unique. It's spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The service was attentive and thoughtful, with impeccable butler service. I'll definitely be back.

Additionally, the hotel's location is truly excellent. It offers breathtaking, unobstructed panoramic views of Taihu Lake, and you can even faintly glimpse the Moon Hotel on the opposite shore. Access to Xishan Island is also super convenient, as it's close by and you won't encounter traffic. Highly recommended!

The environment is superb, featuring an exquisite Chinese garden style. I highly recommend it, especially for families with elderly members. The butler service was excellent. Just be aware that there are quite a lot of mosquitoes around Taihu Lake during summer, so come prepared.

The hotel offers excellent facilities and very spacious rooms, complemented by a beautiful Suzhou-style garden design.
