Tianwangwu Homestay (Taihu Xishan Branch) Reviews

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Zhuisu Tianwangwu Guesthouse! It is a beautiful property with nice spaces to relax and read a book, a great pool and hiking paths and places to explore nearby. The food and tea was amazing and the staff is very friendly. We hope to come back here in the Spring to experience a different season on Xishan Island.

Fantastic place to enjoy a few days with some friends or family. If you want to take a rest or organize a event, here you have a good option.

Members of staff are really nice and friendly. They were very patient to try to understand my poor Chinese. (I managed to communicate with them in my beginner-level Chinese, so I was very happy!) The purpose of my stay was to spend two quiet days by the outdoor swimming pool and to sun-bathe, and I achieved them. It was indeed very quiet, and there were plenty of chairs and deck-chairs by the swimming pool. If you miss a beach-holiday or a lazy pool-side type of quiet holiday, I really would like to recommend this B&B. I also enjoyed their Chinese breakfast. Even if you are a foreigner who does not speak Chinese or who does not know anything about local things, do not worry! This lovely B&B can be reached by public transport. From the Metro Station 太湖香山 which is the final train stop on Metro No.5, catch a local bus Express 11. Once you are in the town called 金庭 (Jinting), change to bus No. 697.

The tea farms surrounding the inn are attractive and the swimming pool was nice (though a bit Inconvenient to walk to with a child). Location is good and value for the price is excellent. Breakfast first morning when the inn was at full capacity was very poor, but second morning it was surprisingly good, with nice noodles and meatbuns.

It is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and relax in comfort. The staff were extremely friendly. We were taken fruit picking. The owner has a lot of land with fruit trees and tea fields, so there are a lot of great hiking paths going up small mountains. My only suggestion is the owner should buy some bikes for guests to use. That is not a big issue and the food we had was wonderful. Great stay!!!

What a great place. In the middle of Xishan Island. With swimming pool and pool table. They speak English. You are in the middle of their hills where they grow tea and fruit trees. You can go hiking inside. I recommend to everyone who wants to be in a very nice and relax place I didn't try their food. The chef was off when I was there . Some pictures from there. What an amazing experience this was. A great place to go with a group of friends for a good time and to see some beautiful spots in China. I would recommend it to anyone. The staff are super helpful and nice. There is a lovely swimming pool area with a bbq and a basketball hoop.

This is a relatively good guesthouse in Xishan. It is modern and peaceful, and the area is pretty. The breakfast was pretty basic. Bring your own coffee and 'nice' food for breakfast. In most Chinese guesthouses, there is usually something bizarre about the design of the bedrooms. In this case, the bathroom had no door, just a curtain, so there is not much privacy. There is nothing to do at nighttime in the area, but we visited the Japanese bar-restaurant about 5km away. That was fun. We enjoyed the swimming pool, but it had a lot of bugs and they bit me a lot. There is a reservoir 300m away, but swimming is not usually allowed.

The room is nice and the bed is comfortable. My friend and I are quite satisfied with it. The location is closer to the lake, about 3-4 kilometers away. There are no restaurants nearby, but fortunately the B&B has its own restaurant where you can order food. The breakfast is simple, but it is better than nothing. There is a tea garden at the door. If you drive there by yourself, it is still recommended. There is a yard for leisure.

The owner of the B&B is really nice, and there are also some sisters and aunts working here who are also very nice. I really like the environment, it is surrounded by mountains, it is extremely quiet, and the air is also good. I will go back next time!

It's much better than expected. The room is very quiet. There are birds singing in the morning. There are mountains outside the door. It's very comfortable. The boss is also very nice and the service is excellent. I will book this hotel again next time I go there. It's very cost-effective.

Nice homestay, the proprietress is nice and enthusiastic. Large space, barbecue and card playing are relaxing. The room is large, the proprietress arranged mats and quilts, 2 big and 3 small comfortable

The homestay is built on the mountain and is located in the center of the island, making it convenient to go to various attractions on the island. Behind the homestay is a tea garden. Going up the mountain, you can not only see oranges, camellias, Dongting tea, but also many chickens, ducks, and peacocks. The environment is beautiful and quiet, and it is a good place to relax. The interior of the homestay is a Chinese-style building with a Jiangnan style. Small fish swim in the gurgling water, lotus flowers bloom slowly, and the sweet-scented osmanthus is fragrant. The interior decoration of the room is simple but not without design sense, and the facilities are complete and convenient! The enthusiasm of the boss added a lot of joy to our enthusiasm and provided a lot of help, treating it like entertaining his own friends! Don't miss it if you are interested!

Nice place, the boss is friendly, the room is clean and tidy, and it is relatively quiet. It is a bit rushed, so I didn't go to the mountain to see it, and I didn't taste the tea. I will come again next time
