Opened in 1957 and refurbished in 2005, Suzhou Nanlin Hotel (Nanlin Fandian) is located on Shiquan Jie, the famous Internetcelebrity delicious food street in Suzhou, adjacent to the busy commercial district. The hotel features a garden with more than 280 trees including species like the camellia, maple, azalea and yulan. Rockeries, fountains and pavilions are also scattered about the garden. Superior guest rooms and Nanlin suites are offered in the newly decorated Shanshui Building.No 1 Building (Yuanzhonglou ),the new decorarion building has rooms with Intelligengce Toliet and Vibration massage mattress.There are a total of 11 restaurants of different sizes in the hotel. The Western restaurant on the first floor offers buffet. Guests will find small-sized restaurants with characteristic Suzhou garden style on the second floor. A function hall and a lobby bar are also available.

Surprising room upgrade offer.
Very helpful and friendly staff , who were actively responsive.
I like the hotel design, and feeling relax when staying in.
Walking distance 5mins there is a bus station, and 10mins there is an mrt.
Everything is good for me.
Will consider to come back when bring my family. 😀

Suzhou Hotel review:-
Room:- clean and nice room. Hotel is beautiful and large with a mini park and fish pond. Window can be open slightly for the cold air to come in. No aircond required . Provided 4 bottles of mineral waters and may request more if needed
Location:- strategic place for food and shopping . Near to metro.
Breakfast:- varieties of food to my surprise. Friendly staff
Price:- reasonable for the price i paid
Plus side: staffs are friendly, helpful and tentative for front office and restaurants.
Bad side: there Are 2 different buildings so need to make sure you get to the right building to check in

Great service and breakfast option. Located in the middle of main attraction street, definitely recommend 👍 make sure you go to building 2 for check in

Handy for cafes and bars, though Shiquan St is getting a little "touristy" of late. The staff here have been 100% helpful, sorting out a breakfast booking error for me and extending my stay directly rather than forcing me back to the agent (as happened elsewhere). The fitness room is a little sparse, but then as I was the only one in there at the time, can't rreally complain! Apart from breakfast, I didn't eat at the hotel, but breakfast had a generous selection of offerings. The nearest subway station is a medium sized walk, but that wasn't a problem for me.
Would come again, no problem.

Nice location, close to many shops and restaurants. Dated interior but still clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice but spoke limited English.

My hotel allocation was at the older building the hotel premise is quite a distance from entrance to the building but its fine.
The room size is big toilet and shower separated (nice) their toilet equip with bidet spray and treatment thingy. Plus point
Their breakfast selection was good
The surrounding of the hotel has alot of cafe pubs and all if you want to stay near to famous tourist locations this might mot be the right hotel for you. I travel around with DiDi
