Our stay at The Hidden Wood was nothing short of exceptional! From the warm, family-like hospitality to the thoughtful modern touches, this newly renovated homestay exceeded all expectations.
The young host and his lovely, welcoming parents made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and attentiveness truly set this place apart. The room was spotlessly clean the bed incredibly comfortable, and having **laundry facilities** was a huge plus for travelers like us.
What really impressed us was the high-tech amenities—especially the big projector screen in the room and the common courtyard, which added a fun and unique touch to our stay. The location is convenient, with delicious food options just around the corner, making it easy to explore Suzhou’s culinary delights.

Very good experience, booked tatami but the ceiling height was too low for me, after negotiation, changed to a king-size bed room for free as a new opening promotion. I heard before that if a snack bar uses branded paper towels, it should be a newly opened shop, this hotel is amazing: Qingfeng paper towels, Adolf shampoo, Safeguard hand soap, Nongfu Spring purified water, disposable bath towels, electric curtains, it's really exaggerated, everything is brand new, there is desiccant in the kettle. The only problem is that the entire third and fourth floors still have the smell of newly renovated wall paint, but the flaws do not outweigh the merits.
