Hotels with Bars in Suzhou

Polite front desk clerk. Room was OK, kind of average but no complaint. Window glass was unbelievably dirty that you don't want open the curtain even sunshine was beautiful. What really surprised me was breakfast. Food was obviously not matching Shangri-La brand equity. Maybe it was due to weekend promotion but no idea. When we arrived the table was not ready. I waited for the table yo be cleaned. A young lady came with tablewares. Before she did any cleaning she dropped the tablewares on the table and then about to clean. I asked her why she did that before cleaning. She realized something and moved the tablewares to a chair (CHAIR!) which is another surprise. But the best part has yet to start. She used a mop to rub on the table. I could see some food residues turning into paste and spreading on the table. The rest was wiped off to carpet...! Can you believe? How did you guys train and qualify new staff before the start working? I complained to the manager. Fortunately He understood and and cleaned the carpet. Shangri-La was one of my favorites. Hope it will continue to be.

The room was very nice,clean. Service was great, I brought my both over 80‘s parents with me. They got pamppered and welcomed everywhere we went in this hotel. Lovely lobby located at the 46‘s floor,modern and contemporary. Great place for photo shoots.Gym Is Open 24 hours, entrance is easy, self-service just Scan your room card. Swimmingpool open 7:00am till about 22:40pm,just be polite and give them 20minutes to clean and tidy up,though they said open till 11:00am. Breakfast have lots of choices. There are rice noodles and noodles,dimsum,spring rolls, fried dumplings,local cusine such as:青团;发糕, stir-fried dishes。Cold dishes and cereals and yourghts. Fesh fruits. They have soyal bean milk, as well as normal milk. about 4-5 different juices. Coffee made to orders. They will bring your choice of coffee to you. The service is about 6star. Especially little details such as if you need any extra towels ,you can just dial operator. They will immediately bring to your room. Surrounding by shopping center and malls, make eating out easier,plenty choices. Overall this is a cost-efficient, great five star hotel for families even with elderly.

The hotel is located very conveniently at the Xinghai Square, having access to the subway, being very quick at the several high speed train stations or the freeway. The staff is super friendly and very very helpful in Lamy cases. The hotel itself hat aged and you can see it, nevertheless the staff always do everything to help you enjoy your stay as much as possible.

The front desk service is brilliant. The hotel is within walking distance to the nearest Metro station(东方之门站). Great bar and SuMianFang(苏面坊)are within the hotel. Definitely will come back to this hotel in my next visit to SuZhou. One of a kind. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My recent stay at this hotel left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, making check-in and any requests a breeze. The location is truly amazing, offering a stunning view of the lake that added a serene touch to the overall experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and convenient, providing a comfortable stay. However, it's worth noting that the overall style and design of the hotel seem to be showing signs of aging. While everything was well-maintained and functional, a modernized touch could enhance the overall ambiance.

Second stay was just as good as the first, sadly the gym is still closed due to the pandemic, staff are very nice and attentive. Room is quite adequate.

The moment I entered my room, I was greeted by a sense of tranquility and indulgence. The room, meticulously appointed with stylish furnishings and plush amenities, became my sanctuary during my stay. The comfortable king-size bed, adorned with crisp linens and plump pillows, promised nights of restful sleep. The panoramic windows offered breathtaking views of the city's skyline, allowing me to immerse myself in the beauty of Suzhou. The room's spacious layout provided a sense of openness, while the carefully curated color palette exuded a calming atmosphere. The room services at Suzhou W Hotel were nothing short of impeccable. The attentive and friendly staff ensured that my every need was met promptly and efficiently. Kimi, a male staff member, stood out with his warm demeanor and exceptional service. He greeted me with a genuine smile and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Kimi's attention to detail was remarkable, and he went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. His knowledge of the hotel's facilities and services was impressive, and he was always ready to provide recommendations or answer any questions I had. The Suzhou W Hotel also boasted an impressive array of facilities to cater to the well-being of its guests. The large gym, equipped with top-of-the-line workout devices, provided a haven for fitness enthusiasts like myself. Whether it was a morning jog on the treadmill or a full-body workout using state-of-the-art strength training equipment, the gym offered everything I needed to maintain my fitness routine. The spacious and well-lit workout area, coupled with the panoramic views of the city, created an invigorating environment that motivated me to push my limits.

Our overall stay at Park Hyatt was definitely memorable. The service was wonderful, the staff were helpful and kind, the facilities were exceptional. I would like to mention Betty, Shaw, Adolph, Vivian and Nick for being such amazing staff! Betty and Shaw made sure we received complimentary cake and wine in celebration of our anniversary. They were so responsive with our questions and are always ready to help. Adolph and Vivian assisted us with checking in and reception. We can’t speak Chinese well but they communicated with us in English which made our stay even better. They also helped us book our dinner reservation. Nick was the manager at apartment 208 where we had dinner. There were complications at first but Nick was able to handle everything well. He was also super kind and respectful. Our stay was almost perfect except for the fact that there was another guest who was blowing his nose, coughing and spitting in the pool which was a turn off for us. We decided not to use the pool anymore. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for couples, friends and family who need a wonderful staycation.

I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. Thank you!

Really popular old hotel, lots of people. Staff spoke English (which is not the norm in China). The hotel has a “theme”, not sure which theme it is (😂), but at least is not a copy-paste business hotel. Latin music was playing in the lobby. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Lots and lots of options. From rabbit candy to pork buns. The best thing is that it is included for free. The not so good part: room shows the age of the hotel. A bit dusty in some areas, bathroom door didn’t fully close. Leaving a considerable gap. My girlfriend and I had to take turns to use the toilet comfortably, but we were there only one night so it wasn’t a deal breaker. We got a really really good deal for the one night + breakfast, so I feel that its short comings can be excused.
