Hotel is far from what it looks like on pictures. Everything is poorly upkept. We were served dry bread for breakfast. Towels from the day before left by the pool. Unfriendly management. No turndown service. There is a massive very loud construction site right in front of the hotel which woke us up at 06:30 am

Stayed for 2 nights (April 15 & 16) and dined in the restaurant both nights. I have been visiting France since 2003 and have stayed at many a hotel. Villa Augusta’s staff and service are in my top 5! The owner and staff are always available and go the extra mile to accommodate the clientele. Food presentation and quality was excellent in the restaurant. I stayed in room #2 which had doors leading into the courtyard. Clean and nice. Definitely coming back again.

We took a 2 days off with a colleague to go and... work in this paradise: - Location is great, near to a historical village (5' walk) - Rooms are spacious and well refurbished - Wherever you go /reception, restaurant, room cleaning), the service is top notch, smiling and very, very professional - Private, secure parking I'll get back and fully recommend.

A very nice hotel within walking distance of the medieval village. Rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning and minibar. There is a very pleasant terrace and flowered garden with a great outdoor pool. The menu is really fantastic and changes every day: fine and inventive cuisine with local and fresh products, including an impressive cheese board. There is also a very large selection of wines and you can enjoy the advice of competent sommelier. In addition, the whole team is very friendly and professional. I will book there once again without hesitation when I travel to this part of France.

This really should be a 5 star review, but somehow the hotel did not quite meet our expectations. First, the good things. The staff were lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. The air con worked extremely well, and the body wash and shampoo were in nice little bottles that were replenished daily. The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a nice big bathtub. There is a large swimming pool, and the car park had a type 2 AC EV charge point. But … The decor of the room and the corridor leading to it (on the ground floor) had a sort of faded elegance, as though it once was fabulous but needs some loving care. The tiles around the sink were very roughly cut and grouted, and the bath had a shower with those flimsy plastic shower curtains that was not nice. The gardens looked unkept, and the grass really needed mowing; the steps through the lawn were submerged. The restaurant area looked very fresh and well maintained by comparison with the rest of the hotel. We did not eat in the restaurant, neither breakfast nor dinner; we had not planned to … which is just as well because the first night we got there it was fully booked. Overall, it was a good stay, but somehow should have been better!

Franchement : passez votre chemin....
