Hotels Near Suwon Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon

The location is very good. Surrounded by restaurants, cafes and near the tourist attractions that are the selling points of this city, which is Hwaseong Fortress. The only downside is that there is not much parking space. But if you come by public transport, it is convenient to travel back and forth. You can walk around the area. Overall, I like it. The picture in the room is as shown in the picture. It is convenient to travel. The outside of the hotel may look a bit old. It does not look very clean. But in the room, the cleanliness is 5 points. Everything is complete. Toothbrush, body lotion, facial cream for both men and women, comb, hair dryer, hair straightener. There is tea and coffee in the room. You can come empty-handed and stay. The bed is soft, the pillows are good, the blanket is warm, the air is cool, the water flows, very convenient 👍👍👍

I want to recommend this hotel very seriously. The single-family building is very distinctive. There is comfortable light music as soon as you enter the door. Everything is very warm and very clean. I am in the room on the second floor. Although there is no elevator, the stairs are very good. I bring a 30-inch suitcase. One person stays. The space is just right. But if two long-distance passengers stay, two large suitcases may only be half open. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were very good to sleep, and it was very quiet at night, very suitable for rest! The logo of the hotel is very cute and everywhere, very attentive. Free water bottles, juice, in addition to the hair dryer in the room, there are straight plate clips, washing supplies are also very careful, very sincere. The hotel is right next to the city wall, and the opposite side is EDIYA caffe, . It takes three minutes to walk to the Cultural Center bus station. It is also within ten minutes' walk from the Huacheng Palace and the cafe gathering block. After check-out, luggage can be stored. I really like it here!

The hotel is located near the busy area of Suwon. Walking distance to 7/11 and lots of food hub nearby within a walking distance reach. Bus station is about 400meters from the area. Suwon station is almost about the same distance.

Location was perfect and the bed was really nice! The only thing is that is smells a little and that there is mold in the bathroom. If they can fix that it is perfect.

I arrived way before check-in time and, without question, the owner gave me a key for a room that was already prepared. Very kind of him. Room was well equipped. I never heard any noise all night. Great value for the price. Not being able to speak Korean I found it a bit hard to find but largely because the English translation of the name in Trip.com was different from what was actually on the hotels signs! Sign outside the hotel says Royal Motel. But a woman from neighbouring shop quickly took me to it. So no problem really.

I love it so much! I think there are things that are there and things that are not there compared to other places! To those who come this way I would definitely recommend it!

Convenient transportation, not far from the subway station Facilities: There is no socket at the bedside, and only 2 power strips connected to the TV are powered. Fortunately, a friend brought a power strip. The table is rotten, it is recommended to change Hygiene: Hygiene is actually a little worse, I hope to correct it The toilet is still stained and there is hair on the bedside.

Due to a change of circumstances, I stayed 2 nights despite I booked 4 nights. I tried to send them an email on 12 February's evening to cancel my stay on 16 February, but they replied to me on 13 February that I could only cancel 3 days in advance. I understood that I sent them late on 12 February, but I didn't know the cut-off time and I had an emergency to shorten my trip. It was my second time staying here. I am not sure if the settings were different since I was assigned a different room. This time, they provided disposable slippers (which was good for hygiene's reason) and there was a smart toilet seat (also good for me!). I had a problem turning off the 2 nights beside my bed and when I tried to ask the front desk, there was no one available (looks like they don't have any staff on duty after 23:00). The problem was resolved by unplugging the key card that I was asked to insert to turn on the power of the room (not sure if this is the right way to do that though). Another issue was that I was waken up by music before 8am on the next day (I had an early flight the day before and I really needed the sleep). I found the source - It came from the loud speakers of a car which stopped in front of the construction site next to the hotel. There were 2 men with banners and they seemed to be protesting about something? The music was so loud that I could hear very clearly on the 6th Floor. There were stains on the carpet, but the cleanliness was okay overall. The parking spaces are too few and this is something the hotel needs to improve. All in all, it was a good value for money. The location was good - there were lots of restaurants, convenience stores nearby and a huge supermarket in walking distance. If I go to Suwon again, I may choose this hotel again.

The furniture is old and shabby. Wardrobe doors make an annoying squeaky sound every time. The safe did not work. The room was dark, there wasn't enough light. The bed linen had stains when we arrived, so I called and asked housekeeping to come and change at least the sheet. So they did, but the new one also had some stains. I gave up. The towels are really old. I think this hotel was too expensive for what we got.
