Hotels Near Hangmijeong in Suwon

Recommended hotel to stay in suwon!! CU mart is just in front of the hotel. Walk about 500m to nearest bus station, took the bus and went to starfield mall (30mins). Room is spacious, big tv, hair dryer, refrigerator, toiletries, kettle, welcome tea & biscuit. Definitely will come again!

It might be a hassle to enter the room by pressing the password, but I thought it would be more convenient than carrying around a key or key card. I arrived a little after 3 o'clock, checked in, took the elevator, and got off at the floor where the embankment was. Then, when I went to the room, a staff member wearing a uniform came out of the room. I wondered if they had just finished cleaning the room, so I asked if I could go in and entered. After that, I changed my clothes and sat on the bed looking at the room door (about 10 minutes after I checked in), and I heard the sound of pressing the password from the door, and a staff member wearing a uniform opened the door and came in. Our eyes met, and he left without any guidance or apology... I was surprised and angry. The reason I couldn't say anything that day was that there was no phone connected to the desk in the room, and there were many guests coming and going, and I was busy, so I just passed by. Is it because the staff members checking the room condition with the front desk don't share work or is it because of the system? Is it right for them to enter a room where guests are already present by pressing the password? The world is so dangerous that accommodation facilities need to be concerned about security and safety. It seems like this is not right... It seems like this needs to be checked and improved.

I stayed alone and it was spacious and comfortable The luggage pool is also spacious and you can spend up to two people comfortably.

The room is a bit small but adequate. Very clean. The location is very good. There is a big Starbucks downstairs. If you go out at midnight, there are several small bars where you can eat and drink beer. There is also 24/7/11. The front desk staff all speak very good English. If I go again in March, I will definitely stay here again.

The room is small, but clean and tidy overall. The bathroom has a smart toilet. But no toiletries are provided, which need to be purchased at the front desk. Two bottles of ice water are provided free of charge in the room every day. There are different slippers in the room and bathroom. There are many places to eat and convenience stores around.

The furniture is old and shabby. Wardrobe doors make an annoying squeaky sound every time. The safe did not work. The room was dark, there wasn't enough light. The bed linen had stains when we arrived, so I called and asked housekeeping to come and change at least the sheet. So they did, but the new one also had some stains. I gave up. The towels are really old. I think this hotel was too expensive for what we got.

This Marriott is connected to a very small mall with many restaurants (nothing fancy). The Mall is convenient and nice to walk around in. More importantly, it borders a wetland park, which is really nice to spend time in. There is not much to do in Suwon (it seems to be a business oriented city with many business people visiting LG and Samsung.) There is also a convention center and a larger mall next door. Breakfast is ok.

Comfortable hotel in terms of facilities and very good breakfast. As a drawback I would mention how far it is from Seoul, 45' to 1 hour by metro and almost 2 hours are needed to get to the airport (although the metro station is 500m away). It is an open station so the tracks are not underground and you can hear the passing of the trains from the room continuously until late at night. It has an exclusive swimming pool for guests but you have to pay to use it... And at breakfast 3 out of 5 days we had to refuse to be put to sign the payment for breakfast since it was included in our reservation.

I think it was a suitable accommodation for a three-girl trip. I stayed here as a cabby, and it was nice to have a washing machine and microwave. Simple cooking is possible, and the dining table is spacious. However, the bathroom had a structure that made it difficult to keep water from splashing inside, and the faucet seemed to be old. The bed did not feel soft or of good quality. I ordered breakfast included, but it was an average breakfast, and they serve the dishes themselves after the meal. There were only a few people eating that day, so I wasn't sure if there was a need for that style. Some employees stood very awkwardly or felt awkward when making eye contact. I felt the taste was above average. It was a Korean-based meal mixed with Western food. Still, it was close to the light rail station, had good supermarkets and infrastructure nearby, and was within a 15-20 minute drive from Everland!

Bedding cleanliness / Bathroom cleanliness / Friendliness There is no toothbrush or toothpaste, so you can bring your own. The 14th floor was a little noisy, but I guess it was because the family was having a good time, so I passed. I arrived sharp at 3 o'clock and parked in the spacious underground parking lot. Take the bus to Everland~ Long hair appeared in the Caesar salad for breakfast the next day. It was replaced with a new one... Is it the main shuffle? The woman's hair... You work at a hotel, and it’s very messy… Do your best and wear a hat. I don't know why I wore a hat... Other than this, I am generally satisfied. Breakfast is so-so for the price.
