Best Suwa Spa Hotels

It was a boxy inn facing Suwa Lake. The parking lot was not so large or the hotel was a service to move. It was just a summer fireworks time, so the traffic jam around the inn was a fireworks car and it was a hard time until I arrived at the hotel. Fireworks of summer wind poems. This fireworks festival is very difficult at this time. From the room, the front building was not disturbed and I couldn't see it well, so I went to the lake shore and let me appreciate it. The bath was a hot spring dyed in vermilion on the street. There was hot water and the later Hanaashi extract was delicious. I didn't like the fact that there were many uses of the group at the time and that the smoking room was close to the room. Is the building built at the time of the bubble? The location was seen in the location and location. Anyway, the location is close to the lake shore, so the location can be said to be the best, but hospitality was not good.

Breakfast was good. Fruit comes out enough to have fruit. There are meat, fish, vegetables and celery, and I can feel good that I don't run away only to fly. The hot spring was small but real. It is a plus that there was a water server. There was tea, green tea and dripping coffee in the room, so I came to drink water. It seems that you can stay at a good price if you make a reservation early, but I think Cospa is quite good.

We decided to stop in Suwa to break up a long drive back to Tokyo. Shinyu looked very good and the price was reasonable. The hotel is renovated and gives a nice modern spa hotel atmosphere. The greeting at the hotel is very nice and the lobby area is beautiful. We felt very welcomed when we arrived. Our room was facing the lake. It was Japanese style with tatami and futons. Nice room, nice view. The public bath was nice. Not huge but felt very good. They have an indoor bath, small outdoor bath, a sauna and a cold bath. Dinner was great, as was breakfast. They were both courses and delicious. Service? Well, this is what makes all the difference. When we book hotels we need to detail my daughter's food allergies which are serious. For this trip we had booked many hotels in a row and for some reason when we booked Shinyu and checked-in we just forgot. It was our fault and when we sat for dinner we saw her prepared meal that she obviously could not eat. The staff at Shinyu didn't miss a beat. The didn't make a big deal about it. No stress. The quickly adjusted and made a wonderful dinner for my daughter and also prepared for her breakfast in similar fashion. Wonderful. Such great service. Maybe the building isn't perfect. But the service was perfect. Shinyu was our last stop on our trip and we left with a smile. Shinyu gets an ”Excellent” from my family.

We intended to check out the Lake Suwa area of Nagano to view the autumn leaves, which were peaking during the time of our visit, and we couldn't think of a better option than to return to the marvelous Sui Suwako ryokan. We were pleased to find that the establishment was as delightful as we remembered it. We stayed here just a year and a half ago, so I won't go into detail regarding every aspect of our stay. Just a few things that bear repeating, however. At just 8 rooms, this ryokan offers an incredibly bespoke experience for each group of guests. Also, each of the rooms has its own in-room free-flowing Onsen (hot springs) bath. And should you want to enjoy the open-air Onsen on the roof (with an awesome view of Lake Suwa, especially at sunset), you can take a dip with members of other genders because swimsuits are not only permitted, but are available to borrow from the ryokan. Service level is very high here. As was the case last time, we were assigned a butler that tended to our room as well as our meals (which are served in a private ko****su room for each and every group of guests.) Our wonderful butler during our previous stay was on leave of absence, but we were delighted to have gotten to know the wonderful Ms. Minri Ko, who was as competent, attentive and knowledgeable as she was warm and charming. The dining experience was sublime. Not every offering was a ”best ever” serving, but that's not what we were after (nor should you seek it here.) While everything really is delicious, what's more impressive is their ability to serve local dishes with local ingredients, which really adds to the overall sense of place. Soba (buckwheat noodles), Basashi (raw horsemeat), Wakasagi (Japanese Smelt from Lake Suwa) Tempura were among the highlights. Breakfast was equally imaginative and well executed - many ryokans really mail in the breakfast - they're all good (how can Japanese breakfasts not be?), but can be the same 'ol thing. At Sui Suwako, they really go the extra mile in bringing out the flavors of the local, seasonal produce and fish from the area. Yet again, we left Sui Suwako with a deeper understanding and appreciation of this part of Japan. And that's part of why we travel to far-flung places, right?

The location is very good. It is two or three minutes away from the station. Although the waiters do not understand English, they try their best to communicate. There is no separate bathroom in the room, but there is a wash basin to wash your face and brush your teeth. The hot spring water does not seem to be a real hot spring. There is no sulphur smell. When you take a bath. There are many Chinese and English menus in the restaurants there. The waiters don't know how to speak English. They have pictures to see pictures, no pictures, and what to eat next to the Japanese.

I visited with two motorcycles. I was a little lost because there are many one-way streets around the road, but the parking lot is covered on the first floor of the hotel, so you can prepare without any problems even on bad weather. In addition, there were several restaurants on the same first floor, so I was saved.

It is about 3 minutes away from Suwa Inter on the central road. The parking lot is large and probably about 50 is ok. There are also two rapid charging machines. Route inn often sees a foot push massage machine at the entrance of the bath, but here is a large room like a waiting room for the bath, and there are two large massage machines and TV can be seen. It heals the tired body by sightseeing around Suwa Taisha shrine. Breakfast can be taken on the opposite Suwa interchange across the road. Each breakfast menu is previewed on the elevator, so I think it can be used according to your preference. Also, it is rare in Route Inn at Suwa interchange, and it seems that I am doing a tavern at night at the breakfast venue (I didn't use it), and I can get a discount ticket at the front desk. Even if it is not, there are many restaurants around, so there is no problem. Therefore, although it is quite substantial, there are only one elevator though the number of rooms is large, and the evaluation was 4 because it is inconvenient.
