Amazing service. Stayed for 2 nights, had an amazing 2x Breakfast and Dinner. They changed the menu for consecutive stayers, all ingredients sourced from the local area, really do feel the effort placed in to not just promote the area but for the love of the area.

The room I booked was a regular tatami room, but the lake view was great. The hotel service was really considerate and thoughtful. I arrived early and was told during check-in that there was a free bus tour of the four major shrines of Suwa, including a driver's explanation throughout the trip. Due to my poor Japanese, I only understood the general idea and didn't understand any of the details. The four shrines of Suwa Taisha were originally quite scattered, but now it's easy to take them all. The breakfast was made with local specialties and was very healthy.

This was my third consecutive year staying at this inn over New Year's, and I stayed on the 1st and 2nd of the month with the no-meal plan.
On the day, they offered a tasting service for local sake, which my son and I enjoyed. They also served rice cakes the next morning, which was a great service that can only be enjoyed at this time of year.

We stayed here as a family of three (mother and two daughters).
We were greeted politely when we arrived at the parking lot by car.
The food was also very delicious. The portions were just right for the women, but perhaps not enough for the men.
The room and bedding were clean, and all the staff were kind, so we didn't have any unpleasant experiences or inconveniences during our stay.
It was an inn that I would like to stay at again when I visit Suwa.

2000mop includes morning and evening for 2 people, very worth it! The service is high-quality and the environment is very good. The private soup is a bit more delicate. I still recommend the free public soup, which also provides free drinks.
