Generally, room was good and spacious. Annoying details...NO sink plug....bed was very comfortable, room was clean...and good value. I will use again...Douglas.

The property was great for what i needed, although a pub within walking distance would have been nice.

Pleasant stay. Very friendly and professional member of staff on reception. Entrance area attractive because of flower planters. Comfortable bed and good amenities. Tiling in the bathroom very poor, giving rundown appearance.

Very disappointing stay – won’t be returning We booked four rooms at this hotel and unfortunately had a really poor experience. The first room had a broken bed as soon as we entered. The second room smelled awful, and despite complaining, we weren’t moved until the following morning — which meant staying the night in a stinking room with a child. To make things worse, the windows had been left open, so we were constantly dealing with flies in the room. The corridor also smelled bad, which made the entire area feel unclean. The other two rooms were slightly better, but even they had strong unpleasant smells. When we raised these issues with reception, we were told the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do, which felt dismissive and unhelpful. Honestly, it was a really bad experience overall, and I would definitely not book here again.

The reception staff was incredible, very friendly and helpful. The room was simple, but clean and comfortable. Thank you for a great stay.
