Attached is what they call their double bed/queen bed. There's many other places nearby that are newer and have better services. Pick an alternative. Staff was unwilling to help and Trip.com was even worse at helping. Just do yourself a favor, book a different hotel and use a different booking service. Trip.com is not there when you need them most.

I only had a very short time in Montenegro and wanted to experience a beach town and as I was flying in and out of Podgorica, Sutomore was one of my few options. I really did anguish about which hotel to choose - Porto Sole was half the price of this property, but several reviewers complained about sewerage smells in the rooms which was enough to deter me. Another big advantage of Sato is that they have their own section of beach. Yes, it's also extremely crowded, but the sunbed and umbrella is included in the room tariff. I left it quite late booking and there were only sea-view rooms available for quite a bit more than I wanted to pay (almost double what I paid in central Podgorica) It turned out to be a pretty fantastic room with an awesome wrap-around balcony overlooking the ocean and busy street below. I had been in contact with the hotel over email earlier, and they were very helpful in answering my pre-sales questions. Arriving on the train from Podgorica (which was an experience in itself) the hotel is easy to find being the tallest building in the village. The checkin process was efficient although they do require you leave your passport with them so they can enter the details. It's totally OK to request it back later. As mentioned, the views from the room were top notch. The staff came up with a fruit plate, albeit a little limp looking and a bottle of water. Regardless, it was a nice gesture. Also unlike Porto Sole, the windows and doors of the room felt of decent quality and did an OK job of muffling the constant noise from the town below. The designers of the room did miss their course in fluid dynamics though as the AC unit cooled only the entrance hall while leaving the main part of the guest room quite warm. Access to the beach as mentioned is included, and was fairly crowded but looked less crowded than the other paid beaches either side. I think there was the option to order food/drinks to your sun lounger but no staff ever came over to offer. It was a MUCH better experience to get up early the next day (7am) and go for a morning swim without the crowds. The breakfast was OK. Better than the other hotel I stayed at in Podgorica, but far below standards of a good Scandic or Radisson breakfast. At least there was coffee here. All the staff had pilot/captain uniforms on which was kind of cute. Now onto the not so great aspects. Avoid the sky lounge! This is located on the top floor, and has some cozy outdoor seating with a nice view (not much different from my room balcony though).. The women working the bar was totally uninterested in her job - it took her 15 minutes to come over with the menu, and the drinks are extremely overpriced compared to what you get on the street. I ordered a Pina Colada which cost 10euros, took an age to arrive .. and when it did, was tiny. I felt severely ripped off and would recommend people go to look at the view, but buy your drinks elsewhere. The room itself was functional. A reasonabl

The very best manager of all coast of Montenegro is Mister Miro. We had a wonderfully dinner in restaurant of hotel Sato and he makes this night a night to remember. Great special meal by great chef Stefan was also something that we will remember.

Location: For Sutomore, the hotel has a reasonably good location. Located literally on the beach, near a promenade. Many shops and restaurants are nearby. The only drawback is that the building is hanging over the road, but is Montenegro this is quite common. Hotel: the hotel itself is a new building, well maintained. It has a small pool, but we have not used it, prefer the beach. The hotel has its own secure parking. The rooms are standard size. Clean. The only negative I can mention is that the showers are made in a way that the water is overflowing the trays, the design is wrong. Food: We found the food to be very good at the hotel. Every day you can try new dishes, local and international. Everything is fresh. The coffee is also very good. They have a new machine. Beach: Pebbled. Private beach, thank goodness. This is a huge bonus. There are days when the water is as clean as tears. However, when windy the rubbish is coming from the sea, and no one can swim. These are the specifics of the place, nothing can be done. Service: We found service to be very good. The reception ladies: Violeta, Andjela, Natasa are friendly, understanding and accommodating. The Manager, Irene, took into consideration our needs, providing us with the better room. We are very happy to have stayed in Sato, it was a great holiday. I would recommend.

First of all I must say that on the outside this hotel is very attractive (compared to other hotels in the area). Private parking is very usefull, otherwise it would be quiet a hassle finding a free spot to park and the corner balcony we had was huge with great sea view. However, there were some big negatives as well: 1) Food: pretty average and after couple days it became repetitive. Very poor dessert section. 2) Dinning area: often there would be shortage of glasses for juice in the morning. Staff was not well organised-plates were not taken off the table very often and sometimes we had to clean and make the table for ourselves, since there was only one person doing all the work for every single table. No one was offering drinks at dinner so only option was water if you got the glass soon enough. 3) Room: we had a reservation for two rooms! At the arrival they said our only option is to stay together in one bigger room (2 were sleeping on the bed and 2 on sofa)...in exchange we got free parking and free dinner for the time of stay. We were told one room was under maintenance, so we didn't have a choice. 4) Beach: there was an app where you were supposed to make a reservation for sunbed set on hotels private beach. We made reservation for 4 sunbeds a day before and at the arrival there was not a single spot free. 5) Noise: there is live music and partys on the beach in bunch of different places. I didn't know which one to listen to and they were all very loud. At 1am the music was shut down. Also there is main road Jadranka behind the hotel with a lot of traffic during the day and night. Above that road is also railway station. (Note that we were there in the begining of august when there is also a lot of people visiting the city). The noise was too much for us so we decided to leave early. This is enirely my personal opinion and experiance. Someone may enjoy that, but since we came on vacation to relax that was not the right spot for us. Pool area is very nice. Great sea view, quiet during the day and we always found a free spot. Hotel also has a nice gym and the staff is very nice and friendly.

All in all a good hotel, nice rooms which were always cleaned. My room had two power outages and once no water. However, this was always fixed quickly. The only thing I really have to criticize are some of the male employees. I traveled alone and was sometimes really harassed as a woman. I could not eat in peace because constantly one of the employees wanted to talk to me or asked for my number. One even followed me to the beach and did not stop talking to me until I told me he needed to leave me alone. The hotel should urgently train all employees how to deal with guests. If you are traveling as a family I can recommend the hotel. However, I would not go there alone again since it was really stressing me out!

The Hotel is located in a very good beach, it is rated 4 stars but discovered lack of services as such rate. Personnel are trying to help, they need more training for English. They don't understand what we asked for, this applies also on shops and malls. No kettle in rooms, no iron. Open buffet breakfast and dinner they write names on dishes with local Montenegrin language only. The Hotel has its own beach, but the towels and umbrellas are not enough for the guests and are very bad quality.

the hotel is very pretty, well decorated and all brand new. it has a nice pool, they also supply towels when you get there. the only flaw is its size, too small for so many guests, you don’t easily find a free spot to sit. the hotel is very close to the beach that is included in the price of the room and you don’t pay extra money to get an umbrella or a chaise which is a very good thing. the beach, however is not so big and the umbrellas /chaises are kinda old and yellowed. the staff is almost all very nice, the only thing missing was a welcoming when we arrived. we haven’t really enjoyed the fact that our room was always getting cleaned very late in the afternoon and so we had to stay out of it for a long time. i’d say that despite some flaws it is a good place to stay.
