I can’t say enough about our experience at this lodge. The breakfast was amazing! The proprietor, Dawn, was amazing, the views were amazing, and the entire experience was amazing. Dawn went out of her way to make our entire family feel at home. breakfast was beyond our expectations and s'more's in the evening was such a nice treat. The entire lodge is so clean and homey. We felt like family. Thank you so much, Dawn!

Five stars isn't enough for this B&B! Warm welcome, breathtaking views from the hot tub of Denali and a wealth of knowledge about the area and the state is just scratching the surface of our experience. Other hostliers should take notes from Dawn on how to do it the right way. Dawn, we can't thank you enough for a real window into Alaska.

if I could give your B&B six stars, I totally would you assisted us in so many ways going above and beyond most hostile years, including doing our laundry. Your expertise and knowledge made the rest for our trip so much better. We stayed in the trapper cabin, which was beautifully appointed with lots of hot water for our showers, coffee and tea as well. The views of Denali from the hot tub and sauna were breathtaking and I really felt like I was being treated like a millionaire there is nothing that I could say that would dissuade me from staying in your lodging again and I feel like I made a friend. Thank you so much Don you really are the epitome of a B&B hostess

Fantastic stay! Dawn and James are excellent hosts. A real treat was hearing stories from Dawn about growing up in Alaska, as well as getting plenty of tips for visiting her home state. The room was very comfortable and had a million-dollar view of the Alaska Range. Top notch amenities, very much enjoyed warming up in the sauna while looking out over the endless forest and snowcapped peaks. Breakfast was quite a spread with everything you could ever want.

Talkeetna Denali View Lodge and Cabins is the best place we stayed in our three week Alaskan vacation and Talkeetna was our favorite area from Anchorage to Fairbanks. The Lodge, the owner/manager (Dawn and her husband), and the generous morning buffet make this the place to stay in Talkeetna. We stayed in the Denali View Suite, which I would highly recommend. Consult with Dawn, a true local, for the best things to do and who to do them with, she has great recommendations for all activities in this area!

The setting is exquisite, with a very large deck having an unobstructed view of the magnificent mountains and the forests in between. The lodge is warm and inviting with comfortable chairs and broad windows which enable you to partake of the scenery from inside. The cabins are charming, well equipped and have little patios. The breakfasts are spectacular and made to order by the wonderful and informative hostess, who has encyclopedic knowledge of Alaska, which she willingly shares. While this Lodge is about 10+ minutes outside of Talkeetna, it is worth the drive. Dawn makes you feel right at home. We stayed in the Trapper's Cabin which was well appointed and comfortable. The deck at the main Lodge offered great views of the area. We didn't spend too much time outside due to the mosquitos. I think Alaska is famous for mosquitos? ;-) Thankfully, the room had good screens so we could enjoy the cool night air without bugs. Dawn made an amazing breakfast - and was happy to cook up eggs to order. We would definitely stay here again.

The owner Dawn made our stay in Talkeetna unforgettable! She makes a delicious breakfast in the morning, and knows everyone and everything around Talkeetna so she can offer excellent recommendations for local attractions. The lodge is very comfortable, and who can say no to drinking your morning coffee on the porch with an incredible view of Denali? Highly recommend, I will be staying here again on future trips to Talkeetna!

We had such a lovely experience here. The rooms were very well appointed with comfortable beds and linens. I felt like I was a guest in Dawn’s home. The highlight was the clear evening in the hot tub with Denali directly in front of us. Breakfast was a beautiful spread. I highly recommend!
